Luke Skywalker 2,383 Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 Guard your original Superman movie DVD with your life. The reboot crew will be sneaking into your house and raping your childhood any day now.i bought the 1978-2006 complete set collection the other day seeing that the franchise as we know it has ended forever. And it was cheap.
A24 5,156 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Meet the new Lois Lane:http://www.movies.co...an-steel39/9942Is that a pic from the movie I see in that article? Hihihihihi, how Snyder-esque!Alex
Quintus 6,495 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Anyone and I mean ANYONE has to be better than Bosworth.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,386 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Bosworth actually looks beautiful as a blonde and in other films she has shown to be able to act. But she was just completely miscast.
Richard P 5,302 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I thought Bosworth was fine. But I'm also one of the few who enjoyed SR more than the original. So what do I know.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,386 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 She lacked the "sassy" nature that does belong with the character. Kidder had that in spades, so did Teri Hatcher. Also she simply looked too young to be a cynical, Pullizer price winning reporter.
BloodBoal 8,711 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Is that a pic from the movie I see in that article?Huh, no.
Matt C 605 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Is that a pic from the movie I see in that article? Hihihihihi, how Snyder-esque!No... that's just a publicity photo of Ms. Adams. I think her turn in Trouble With the Curve is a fair indication of where she'll go with Lois Lane, but with more fire. Heck, I think this photo will probably be similar to what she'll wear at The Daily Planet.
Trent B 354 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Regarding Event Horizon, it is a creepy film and I for one like it.
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Oh it might be fake after all....But this is notKarol
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 I just thought it doesn't look too convincing, that's all. But then again I'm not an expert in Snyder's style.Karol
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Shame is my second name.Or was it Shane?Karol
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 How did you know my last name, stalker?Karol
A24 5,156 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 I can't see the pic of the stalker who calls himself BloodBoal.
Wojo 2,458 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Ctrl+F5 should force the browser to download the images fresh, rather than simply viewing the files stored in your cache. You can either do that on the main page, or attempt to view his avatar in its own page/tab, and go from there. Of course, each browser may have their own special flair for doing this simple yet easily forgotten operation.
A24 5,156 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Your tips do not work for me, wojo. The great Michael Shannon (General Zod) on the set of Man Of Steel.Alex
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,386 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Snyder still has it!
Jonesy 55 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I find odd that Clark Kent doesn't wear glasses.
Jonesy 55 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 At least he won't look like Christopher Reeve
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,386 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I find odd that Clark Kent doesn't wear glasses.Laser surgery...
Wojo 2,458 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 We don't know the context of that single photograph. Maybe Clark took his glasses off earlier and didn't put them back on yet, or they're broken. Or he has not yet revealed himself as Superman and thus not felt the need to don a disguise. Or those are his glasses and she wanted to try them on.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,386 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Bunnies of Doom man!
A24 5,156 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 We already know Kent is not wearing glasses. But apparently Lois does and that's a lot hotter in my comic book. Wojo 1
Quintus 6,495 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I'm just pleased that it looks well shot.
Matt C 605 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Someone obviously labored to remaster the bootleg footage of the Comic Con trailer, and it looks much better:http://vimeo.com/46158451... why didn't WB use this for the first teaser trailer? That would've won more people over.
Wojo 2,458 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 We already know Kent is not wearing glasses. But apparently Lois does and that's a lot hotter in my comic book.I dig chicks in glasses.
Maurizio 6,913 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 We already know Kent is not wearing glasses. Really they did that? It's quite stupid! Kent's glasses are surely a naive concept, but it's totally KEY to the core premise of Superman/Clark Kent character. If we take the glasses out, something is missing in the (again, very naive) suspension of disbelief.I'm afraid this movie will suck big time.
Matt C 605 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 We already know Kent is not wearing glasses. Really they did that? It's quite stupid! No, they did not. In that CC trailer, there's one throwaway bit where Clark's unfolding a pair of glasses and preparing to put them on. Watch it and see for yourself.
crocodile 9,724 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I'm sure he is wearing glasses in this film. And he puts glasses on in the Comic-Con trailer.Oh and that pic is fake.Karol
Maurizio 6,913 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Haha, no, I didn't mean to be so literal, sorry. It's just that what I saw/heard of this movie so far isn't winning me AT ALL and this would have been the icing on the cake. However we already debunked the rumor so we have as usual to wait and see.
crocodile 9,724 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I am anticipating this film from a "there was never a Superman film before this one" angle. I want it to feel fresh.Karol
