JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Asian american, pleasethat could describe jewish, arab, persian, russian, afgan, hindu, indian, chinese, korean, or japanese people, and many more.We chose italian, I had a nice linguine with meat sauce, and a delicious salad, then several hours later I had a nice blackberry sundae. Dave chose fetticini with chicken and veggies and a salad, he had a chocolate cone.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 Joe, watch The Big Lebowski and then get back to me!
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 I know for a fact that you don't have a brother!
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Joe, watch The Big Lebowski and then get back to me!I will not watch that movie ever again,
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 Then Morlock does have more credibility then you.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 why because i don't like that movie, you just lost credibility, and your post count just went back to zero.
hornist 1,261 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Fresh pasta with fresh pesto sauce with mushrooms filled with Gorgonzola.
FattyMcButterpants 1 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 and your post count just went back to zero.I tend to think that would be more heartbreaking to him than losing a leg.Had ciabatta with chicken.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 and your post count just went back to zero.I tend to think that would be more heartbreaking to him than losing a leg.Had ciabatta with chicken.it would,I'm cooking spaghetti and meatballs the 6 hour recipe, the good stuff.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 yes, its my favorite spaghetti recipe, my sauce takes at least 6 hours to cook, its thick and rich, and delicious.I have to admit if it wasn't for the movie Hancock I might not be fixing it but the movie gave me a hankering for it.
Richard P 5,302 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Gammon steak and baked potato earlier, snacking on kettle chips right now.And I have half a dairy milk with crunchie bits on my desk (well actually my desk and a shelf are covered in snacks, my metabolism must be through the roof). It won't be there for long.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 Gammon can mean: * A particular cut of bacon or ham (from an Old Northern French word "Gambe" for hind- leg of the pig or ham) - processed pork product
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 yes I looked it up, would have been easier to say ham steak
Luke Skywalker 2,383 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Gammon can mean: * A particular cut of bacon or ham (from an Old Northern French word "Gambe" for hind- leg of the pig or ham) - processed pork productHam in french is Jambon. It never occured to me that it was a derivative of Gambe. thanks Mmmm... i wonder if the spanish word Jamón comes from that or the other way arround....
Marian Schedenig 11,694 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 yes I looked it up, would have been easier to say ham steakIt would've been easier to say meat.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 yes I looked it up, would have been easier to say ham steakIt would've been easier to say meat.no meat could imply any type of meat, but ham steak is what gammon steak is.
Marian Schedenig 11,694 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 "A particular cut of bacon or ham" - that doesn't sound to me like any kind of bacon or ham would be gammon.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 12, 2008 Author Posted July 12, 2008 Last night I ate pig-feet.God I love Spain!
FattyMcButterpants 1 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Zampone!It's really good, it's a traditional dish on New Year's in Italy.
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Sauteed meatballs and chopped Hans' sausage, and rice with pine nuts. Delicious!
FattyMcButterpants 1 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 and chopped Hans' sausage And I thought you were a Zimmer fan!
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 It's a brand of sausage, actually says Hans on the package! I wonder if Hans eats them, hmm...
FattyMcButterpants 1 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Don't say you ate them with mayo, I will never get that picture out of my head again!
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I don't like mayo, I don't eat anything with it. And like I said, it was chopped and sauteed.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 I don't like mayo, I don't eat anything with it.but what do you eat your french fries with then?
Hitch 60 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Kora likes his fries with 100% full fat salad dressing.Tucking into a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes now. Yum!
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I don't like mayo, I don't eat anything with it.but what do you eat your french fries with then?if he's like most Americans he has ketchup, or catsup. Some people like ranch dressing but that has mayo in it.
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Incidentally, contrary to popular believe, mayonase served with fries isn't actually real mayonaise. It's frysauce that looks like mayonaise, but the taste is different.Take that, Pulp Fiction.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 The jar I have in my fridge says it's mayonaise. Are you calling Remia a bunch of liars?BTW, what year is Pulp Fiction set in anyway?
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Hm. The mayonaise I have (Gouda's Glorie) certainly doesn't taste like what I get at the snack counter.I think Pulp Fiction is set in present day, so that would be either today or 1994, depending on how you want to interpret "present day".
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 Learn something, my friend:
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Well, mayonaise-like then. Point is, it still tastes different, which is why people refusing frysauce on the argument "I don't like mayonaise" don't know what they're talking about!
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 The point is that there re many variations of the sauce. So much more varied an interesting then Ketchup, which is basically vegetable substitute for the poor.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,384 Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 Interesting predicament....What if you want to type mammary gland?
