Jay 46,244 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I got a chance to listen to this score over the weekend. It's pretty incredible! The most bombastic score I've heard in a long time
KK 3,313 Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 Indeed! This is a fantastic score! Who's up for an Adventure is a great cue!
Dr. Know 492 Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 Maybe it has something to do with my general lack of enthusiasm for so much of Hollywood scoring these days, but when I went back and listened to Lockington's score for the first time in many years, it sounded like a masterpiece. I know it isn't exactly that, but it is a whole lot of fun in a kind of throwback style. Any other fans out there?
Richard P 5,303 Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 I liked it and went to the trouble of importing the CD way back. I think I lost a bit of the initial 'wow' because I have 15 minutes of it in my playlist but it's a fun, active score with memorable themes. The film's lucky to have it.
