Muad'Dib 1,802
The ascending brass at 1:00 remind me so much of something, a classical piece, but I can't remember which one. Wagner, perhaps?Still, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the hell of out that piece. Now that's the sound all these new superhero movies should have! Or at least one or two. Thor 7,504
I've been listening to this a couple of times lately, and I'm liking it more and more. I wasn't as euphoric as everyone else when I first heard it, and I'm still not totally sold -- but it's certainly one of the highlights of the year, no doubt about it. publicist 4,643
ASM + The da Vinci Code = Wolf Totem ?Not even one of those stupid 'hold the thief!' observations, i just found it very obvious that there are melodic intervals at play that are typical Zimmer which bleed into other composer's works and very much so here - which i don't find offensive but worth singling out. Horner's pioneering days are long over, anyway.
