478. He was approached to score Ridley Scott's Alien.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I don't remember having heard this. What would that be like? Probably as butchered in film as Goldsmith's. He probably would have written the entire thing for 16 tubas, a mini moog and two triangles. Damn. That would shake 'em up!

It's in the canonical 1978 Films and Filming interview.

311: He's admitted in concert to disliking at least one film he's scored, circa 1995 and it rhymes with Sabrina. Oh wait, it is Sabrina.

Wow, really? What exactly did he say?

Sabrina seems relatively inoffensive compared to some of the real stinkers that he scored (Heartbeeps, Monsignor, Spacecamp).

301. John Williams actually scored every single Potter film. No one has heard it and anyone who speaks of it is court marshaled along with every Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise who violated direct orders and the ears of people who supposedly have heard it.

306. He wears his trademark turtleneck to bed. He even has a swimsuit turtleneck for special occasions.

292: Williams has composed a song for Sinatra but Frank never recorded it.

Yes for the one Feinstein recorded, but don't forget 'Dream Away" which Sinatra did record

And Dream Away was based on the love theme of Williams's score for A Man Who Loved Cat Dancing.
