I'm super excited for The Incredibles 2 and its score! I hope Giacchino will score another Pixar film between now and then, though, like Cars 3 or Coco.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Disney will someday release Giacchino's Toy Story That Time Forgot like they did his Toy Story of Terror!. I still rewatch TSTTF from time to time to listen to the score.

Hey, I just saw Inside Out's short, "Riley's First Date"

I heard some military drums similar to MI:III...and yep, music by giacchino :)

Shame the short is just 4 minutes. It's funny.

Cool! Do you know if it's original music by Giacchino or if they re-used cues from Inside Out?

Also, Giacchino has been nominated for an Annie Award for Inside Out!

For a moment i thought 'annie' was 'razzie'

I dont realy know Inside out by heart... but the music sounded fitting for the images...I dont reacall the militaristic music in the film, so it could be all new (it's just 4 minutes, not much timework for the composer) And he has done several shorts already...

I wonder if Giacchino will score this

Since its not a found-footage movie it might have score in the main film and not just the end credits

Ha, I was on my way here to post about that! I hope he will, but I wonder if the film has the budget (only $5 million) for someone like Giacchino. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Very true...

Here is the poster. The colors of the sky remind me of the Cloverfield poster, and the overall design reminds me of the Super 8 poster. I'm kind of excited for this now!
