Finally the final of all finals is upon us!

The winners of the decade polls going head to head in a ruthless struggle with only one winner!

What score will be awarded JWFAn's official most favorite John Williams score ever!

The suspense is killing me!

I really really love all these scores so, so much (apart from Rivers which I've never heard).... And even though it's the obvious choice I do have to pick ESB as my favorite out my these favorites.

Looking at it, it's actually a really tough couple of choices!

Either SW, JP or Harry Potter

Annnnd . . . we're expecting a different result than Joey's two polls gave us?

No, but we need one every few years, like elections.

Nothing really changes, but it's the give the populace the perception of involvement....

It's not really our favourite, is it?

we're voting for the most favourite among those that were voted as favourite by most members.

There is a big difference.

Eg. my most favourite Williams score which is E.T., isn't here.

Anyway, I voted for ESB.

These are officially the 5 most favorite scores of JWfan, decided by vote!

You are Greek! You should know how democracy works, your people invented it!

While Star Wars is obviously an amazing score that set the bar extremely high not only for himself but other composers, I have to give it to ESB since Williams somehow managed to create an arguably better score than Star Wars.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope ( or just Star Wars is you have a chip on your shoulder). I think it's a better score and film than Empire.

My personally favourite would be either Phantom Menace or Revenge of the Sith.

I would vote Empire Strikes Back if it was the Gerhardt version. I just realized I'm probably voting for the complete/chronological Star Wars, which I don't prefer. Same goes for Empire.

John Williams never scored a movie called A New Hope!

He never scored Star Wars Episode V either.

My vintage 1977 LP says STAR WARS!

My 1980 2LP and teenage experience was The Empire Strikes Back. Why the Episode thing on your list?

by questioning you learn more. That's what drives progress.

This.

Depends on what you question and who you are questioning.

Mostr of these conspiracy arses should be locked away!

Sure Steef, I saw that title crawl at London's Leicester Square 34 years ago. It says it's the fifth episode of the Star Wars saga. But the title of the film, the album, the score... was The Empire Strikes Back. That was the official title.

You will not find any physical, pre-internet document showing the film's official title as Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back.

If you're happy with that interpretation of the facts, good for you! I already explained mine

The crawl for the 1980's film says Episode V, the 1977 film's crawl only says STAR WARS.

I think this case is pretty open and shut.
