Score Question: Hymn to the Fallen (from Saving Private Ryan)

Hello everyone: I'm conducting the "Hymn to the Fallen" chorus from William's Saving Private Ryan score. In bars 51 & 75, Williams indicates "Ah+Oo" for the chorus. Does that mean Ah and Oo simultaneously or Ah morphing to Oo over 2 bars or?? I welcome all opinions! I'd write John himself but seems snail mail is the only way to reach him. Thanks all!

Thank you both! If you click on the photo, it flips it back correctly. Not sure why, on Facebook it looks fine. Also, I definitely own the OST and have listened to it countless times but it's not super clear - I do have an opinion - I just thought I'd get some John Williams fans and musicians to comment. Thanks so far everyone.

It probably means half of the chorus sing Ah, while the other half since Oo. An equal number of men and women on each vowel.

I also vote for this. This has also always been my interpretation.

I can see where it would be hard to tell. From that pic it looks like you could just as easily be conducting "Werewolves of London."
