  1. I was thinking the other day to try and look for a list such as this. Anyway, as I was perusing the DVDs that my family had rented last weekend I stumbled across a crappy chick flick. First Daughter. I'm glad I did though as, surprisingly, it contains a short featurette with Blake Neely talking about Michael Kamen. For those who don't know, it was during his work on this particular film that Mr. Kamen passed away. It was sort of interesting and I really wasn't expecting a bonus featurette like that on such a DVD. Also, the Williams bits in the JAWS "Making of" doco and also the short featurette on JAWS 2.
  2. The advantage of the Sony rereleases is - the RCA's are no longer readily available everywhere, and people who cannot track the RCA's down, can still enjoy the wonderful, complete Williams scores for the orginal trilogy. Having said that, I couldn't find the RCA's at first (and I knew they were better), so I bought the box of the Sony releases and now also have the superior RCA releases of ANH & ESB. I still need to find ROTJ.
  3. We all know that IF it finally does get made, that people will be divided. However, a new Indy film, may see the re-release of the original 3 Indy scores, perhaps even expanded or complete versions of each film's score. We can only hope.
  4. In response to Luke Skywalker's query about the runtime... I guesstimated, however... The downloadable PDF on the official site, that "Final Chapter" of the "Making of Revenge of the Sith", states at one point that ROTS was 2hrs 33mins long (153mins). That kind of scares me, that I was pretty close actually. I'll keep this cover as reference and see how close the features are to the real thing when it's released in November.
  5. Saw this today and had to show you guys:
  6. Thanks for the link and the cover. I'm still going to be wary of the track list though, until the album gets leaked and someone can cofirm the titles / lengths. Who agrees that they should have used Struzan's unaltered poster art for the cover of the OST? I don't think we'll ever get the 2 original pieces Struzan did until there's another Struzan book released. Maybe not even then. However, having seen the production stills that were used as photo-reference for the creation of the artwork... I'm not too impressed by this poster. Sidious doesn't look anything like himself. *sigh* Oh well. BTW, I think that the section of the primary poster (the headshots one that has so obviously been butchered) that is covered by Vader, may have contained Mustafar or the in-construction Death Star (which would've looked cool hanging in the sky above all the characters), but I guess we'll never know. ~klokwerk
  7. Oh, Indy! We all know that it's really Williams whose been forcing George to tinker with the original trilogy! He is the puppetmaster and has been pulling Lucas' strings to make the movies fit in with his "original score". ... ... j/k Lol.
  8. "Grievous Speaks to Lord Sidious 2:49"? I don't know. I can't see a track titled that lasting that long. AND it is towards the end of the list, when Grievous is supposed to be out of the picture. Although they do shuffle around the tracks, but still, a 2:50 track that's supposed to be underscore for a grievous/palpatine conversation? :/ BTW, Cerrabore (and others), I was under the impression that Williams does not come up with the names used for the tracks on the CD release.
  9. Well, the soundtrack will be better than AOTC and TPM (I hope anyway). BUT, I'm really hoping that we see COMPLETE releases of all 3 prequels' scores. C'mon, we all have the 2-CD special edition releases of the scores of the original trilogy movies. They came out in 1997 - the 20th anniversary. (Hopeful) logic would figure that the prequel trilogy scores will get a similar treatment for the 30th anniversary in 2007. ~klokwerk - also hoping for special treatment of the re-re-re-release of the movies in 2007
  10. Well, if enough contributions are made here, that is, names of supposedly used scores, then I'm sure someone with enough enthusiasm and time could recreate the temp track (well, not recreate 100% - but close enough) .
  11. David Vincent, I may be wrong, but Star Wars.com never released a textless poster.... oh wait. They did, but it was really small. The same goes for the one at the DrewStruzan site, except that it was even smaller - though I think it looked slightly different on the Struzan site...
  12. Well, if we're lucky they may use the unaltered art that obviously did not include the Vader helmet. THe light source would be revealed and would make for a must-have cover due to the butchery that is to be the official poster. The Darth Vader helmet was obviously the main element in the 2nd work that Struzan produced for the film. I really wish they kept them as 2 separate posters, rather than merge them and make it look quite photoshopped.
  13. Anyone know the cue list in the ANH RCA SE CD? (woah - lotta acronyms!) I reckon once these articles are all done we should create our own in its likeness.
  14. I couldn't care about my family's VHS collection in a drawer downstairs - got my pretty big DVD collection. BUT, I do have these films on DVD which I keep for sentimental reasons - even though I have them on DVD, I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of the tapes. Back to the Future (1, 2 & 3) Indiana Jones (Raiders, ToD, TLC) Superman (1 & 2) Star Wars Trilogy - Original Editions Star Wars Trilogy - Special Editions All of the above are housed in their series' respective box (well not the original Star Wars). For the most part they're all in great condition; both box and tape.
  15. Well, very interesting replies to such a small message. Thanks for all the help (the first few people); I found that once you place your first order they require you to log your details for future visits, that's what I was looking for. To the second bunch of replies: I am not dutch. A screenname/alias is just that. I am proudly Australian. New South Wales if anyone here is also from Australia.
