  1. Oh no, I am a guitar player. Contact me by PM for the score, I probably have a Sibélius version of "Canyon" in one of my backups...but where it could be!!?? I will try to find it. Let me some time for that please, I am currently moving my studio.
  2. Thank you for the listening and kinds words pixie_twinkle.
  3. Thank you for your kind words. The music is recorded by the Slovak Orchestra. Thank you for the listen and kind words. Yes I did the orchestration by myself. There were two composers for this movie, I just came on it one month before the sound mixing process. I was in charge of composing the end of the score, that's mean more than half of it. I orchestrated all my music, and also did the music supervision. I called my friend Jean Phillipe Bec for orchestrate the other composer's music with my directive, and he helped for the music preparation on the "Canyon", a lot of notes inside!! I am sorry for my approximative english!!
  4. Happy news year, I hope great musicals moments for everyone in 2007. You can listen an excerpt of Fair Play Soundtrack called "Canyon". I wrote this piece of music for the movie directed by Lionel Bailliu. "Canyon" at MySpace Good listening.
  5. Hello to everybody Here two pieces done in my homestudio. The second one is singed by Cécile Marpeau, a friend of mine. LLDMDB AUTOMNE ***
  6. Again, here is a link to my (big!!38Mo) demo file. http://perso.wanadoo.fr/laurentjuillet/Lau...JuilletDemo.mp3 Frenchy music!!
  7. Simon, yes you're right for the cost. I just come from Bratislava where we recorded the music for the French movie. The composer is François Peyrony, I just did the production manager and the orchestration. The cost is incredibly inexpensive less than in london. I hope this low cost can help the young composer to see there music recorded by real musicians. I really think that is a real value for productions and comosers. Tanks you Simon, did you listened my demo with samples? We don't have name for the moment. The names will be given by my editor, he usually do this part of the job. He follow a global concept for each CD of his collection. This music was written for a library CD. The challenge was to write 11 pieces who works in 3 formats, piano solo, strings alone and tutti in a romantic mood. We record the piano and the orchestra separatly. I alaways can listen this music, this is the first time for me.
  8. Simon, did you never recorded with real orchestra because the budgets were too small? I think, you could find some good works orchestra for a small budget. I have just finished a production for a french movie. The global budget for the music was not too expensive.
  9. Thank You, Simon. I have a question for you. I think that you already work with a real orchestra. So do you find, like me, that is very difficult to recreate the depth of the orchestra. Another thing is the symphaty between the instruments. It is really difficult for you to think the dynamic like a real orchestra when you orchestrate on your midi system? I am very sorry if my question is confuse...English is a little nightmare for me....
  10. Simon, what kind of reverb do you usually use on the orchestra?
  11. Bowie, I have listened your music. I like it, but it's difficult to exactly explain every thing about it with my poor english!!
  12. I like this piece of music, great lyrical feeling.
  13. Thanks you Mr Breathmask to take time to listening my work.
