Damien F 1,742 Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Patrick Macnee, made famous for his role as gentleman spy John Steed in the British 1960s show The Avengers, has passed away at the age of 93.I was a huge fan of The Avengers growing up in the 1990 when I had record repeats of the show that aired in the early hours of the morning and watch it the following day. I really enjoyed his role in A View To A Kill too.Lee, Macnee and Horner - all massively important to my childhood, all passed away this month One of TV's great themes too.
