Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I even saw it a second time to see if the film could work as a guilty pleasure ... Now who can say that?!

I really liked the scene (Special Edition) with Don Draper.

Well I've only seen it once. Want to see it again though, because I accidentally watched the theatrical cut instead of the director's cut.

My partner and I watched Sucker Punch and hated it. I get what Snyder was trying to do, just don't think it ever really clicked. I liked Watchmen and Dawn of the Dead a lot, hated 300 and Sucker Punch, and felt "meh" about Man of Steel, which, for me, in a movie about Superman, might as well be hating it. We did not see the stupid cartoon owl movie.

The only reasons I have any hopes for BvS are the casting of Affleck and the change of writers, but everything I've seen or heard about it at this point is not exciting to me.

Forbes says that a teaser trailer for Batman v. Superman should be forthcoming in the next seven to eight weeks -- it'll likely appear on prints for The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies.

The trailer is mentioned near the end of the article.

Oh boy... guess who's coming on board for the score so Hans doesn't have to reinvent his Batman sound.

Huh. Zimmer is really fond of that guy. In fact, Jon Broxton once made a comically light jab at him once in reply to a friend's FB post, and Zimmer went ballistic. He was making these crazy defensive posts about him while personally insulting Jon. A number of us stepped in to defend Jon, but it was one of the strangest things I've seen, especially from a guy who usually has such a collectively cool and calm personality.

You know something? I have agonized over it. I agonized over it, so much so that finally, I went, I don’t want to betray what Chris, James Newton Howard and I did. And so I asked Zack [snyder] if it would be OK if I called a friend in. And I’m going to be working with Junkie XL, who really is a great friend. He just finished the Mad Max score. I said to him, “You take care of Batman. I’ll do the other guy.” And Zack loved that idea. It’s a way out.

Ha!
