nightscape94 965
Listen to the moment from 2:50 0 2:53. That second pass at the chord progression with the fuller orchestral reinforcement is outstanding. I keep playing those 3 seconds over and over again. Never really noticed the power of that moment until today. Sounds awesome.
lostinspace 8
For me it's Revenge of the Sith. But honestly I never tire of his 2001-2005 output, Munich & Memoirs are excellent also. To me these are very deep scores and they are the ones that resonate the most. I remember my grandmother died back in 2005 -- a lot of that "lament" styled SW music got me through that (I know it has nothing to do with SW). For the ninetiess maybe only Jurassic Park and Schindlers.. Then theres the classic's Star Wars Indiana Jones and Jaws & ET. Unfortunately I think although E.T is a wonderful score, I think it sounds more dated stylistically than Star Wars.
