  1. Work? Who's Work? Ya I do agree about that though. I would imagine it took place years after the DS9 finale. I doubt he stopped being a Starfleet officer, he probably conferred with Martok about remaining as the Ambassador to the Klingon home world and asked to be transferred to the Enterprise. BTW I forgot to add in my original posts yes the Star Trek TNG movies are cannon. He was traveling with the crew to the 2nd wedding.
  2. Not really. The 40 years set had more cues from Jane Eyre and Rare Breed to name a few, but this new set renders the Six Star Wars Films disc, the Indiana Jones Trilogy disc, and the Harry Potter compilation obsolete (if you don't care about the Doyle and Hooper scores).
  3. The 4 CD set (released in 2003) had ommitted several tracks that were previously released in the Silva library. Since then, they've recorded numerous new Harry Potter tracks, Geisha, Munich, War of the Worlds, Tintin and War Horse among others I'm not remembering...
  4. I don't like metal, but I like rock, and Eric Clapton's work with Michael Kamen and the National Philharmonic is awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0sxr-wg7qI
  5. I doubt there are more than 10,000 people who want to have the CD to Spacecamp. In other news, it appears that Monsignor has finally sold out. Still some discounted at Amazon.
  6. I can't find a US CD release for john williams movie masterpieces. I didnt even know the recording existed. Was it on the main site?
  7. I wanted to hear Adventures of Mutt live, but 1941 isn't bad. Encores were Yoda's Theme, Imperial March and Superman.
  8. He ended up doing 1941 instead of Adventures of Mutt for whatever reason.
  9. This orchestra did Adventures on Earth at this time lsat year - The rest of the program was Rozsa's Spellbound, Bernstein's On The Waterfront...and a really long rachmaninov piano concerto containing the variation from Somewhere in Time among other things.
  10. When did Alpha go good? This episode made no sense to me, but the episode that it's a followup to never even aired on TV from what I remember. Hard to believe Boyd was the head honcho this whole time..I don't usually watch Whedon shows but I guess that 'coming out of nowhere' stuff is typical...and plenty of it throughout the series.
  11. Didn't see anything on the main page, sorry if it's been posted already. http://newwestsymphony.org/masterpiece.html AMERICAS Friday, January 29, 2010 Saturday, January 30, 2010 Sunday, January 31, 2010 Boris Brott, conductor Lindsay Deutsch, violin Bernstein Overture toCandide Thompson Symphony No. 2 in E Minor Copland Two Dance Episodes from Rodeo Williams Three Pieces from Schindler's List Gershwin Fantasy for Violin & Orchestra on Themes from Porgy & Bess The Gershwin fantasy is arranged by Alexander Courage.
  12. Sounds like a good concert but I'm glad I chose to do the hollywood bowl instead since it was all Williams music.
  13. So now we are making lists of what we DON'T have? Artificial Intelligence 2000 - The Patriot 1999 - Angela's Ashes* 1998 - Stepmom 1998 - Saving Private Ryan 1997 - Amistad* 1997 - Seven Years in Tibet 1997 - The Lost World: Jurassic Park 1997 - Rosewood 1996 - Sleepers 1995 - Nixon 1995 - Sabrina 1992 - Far and Away 1991 - JFK* 1990 - Home Alone 1989 - Always 1988 - The Accidental Tourist 1987 - The Witches of Eastwick 1986 - SpaceCamp* 1982 - Yes, Giorgio (Theme)* 1977 - Black Sunday* 1976 - The Missouri Breaks 1976 - Family Plot* 1975 - The Eiger Sanction*
  14. Tell me what you like about Midway! Apart from the march, what do you like about it? Well, I like the way that the Midway march is utilized and varied in the various action cues, especially in "Red Parks Fighters". Also, "The Men of the Yorktown March" is another enjoyable march that gets overlooked.. My only beef with the CD is it seems like I have to adjust the volume a lot...
