  1. That I would like to see. If you can really manage to press CD's with large booklets and so on. I doubt you had a factory plant for real pressing discs. So no... no one of us can do that. That's what GerateWohl meant. I assume he wants the real thing. Besides, I am in your camp. I would rather like expanded prequel soundtracks. Maybe this is a bit of selfish thinking, but I do have all of the pressed FYC's albums in my collection (I paid quite a bit for those) and I like it to listen to so I rather want the prequels.
  2. Mine (Collector's Edition) was shipped a few days ago and it's on the way to my country.
  3. I pop this thread up with a question: Does anyone own that promo on CD? I asked this because I saw a few ebay auctions back in the day and one of them claims it is a CD-R. Just want to know if it is true (you can look at the backside of CD).
  4. Mine arrived safely. No cracks at all. And the best thing: It is not a copy of Return of the Jedi.
  5. Well, I have to say after listening and comparing that score with the other scores in the same vein (Star Trek 2, Star Trek 3, Krull) I like it very much. I may in the minority here but I like it more than Krull. The action passages are stunning. What Horner has done with only 40 players is remarkeble. So will order this and have my Horner "Space-Trilogy" -> Battle Beyond the Stars, Star Trek 2 and Star Trek 3. I remember a guy who said he wanted a Star Trek trilogy from Horner and not as we all know ending up with a duology. So instead he put and listen to BBtS as his Star Trek 4 instead of Rosenman's score. Love it.
  6. This. I never understood the hype around these scores. LotR and Hobbit scores are very boring ones, imo. The best ones are the first, the third LotR and Desolation of Smaug. But not in the Level of Williams. Maybe someone will hate it what I say now, but all 9 Star Wars scores are better than LotR and Hobbit combined. For the movies, I think Unexpected Journey and Desolation of Smaug wins the game. Battle of Five Armies is not a good movie. I prefer Revenge of the Sith.
  7. But Digital Bits also made mistakes. In The Last Jedi 4k release, they said there is gonna be an isolated score, which is definitely not true. https://thedigitalbits.com/item/star-wars-the-last-jedi-reissue-uhd
  8. (...) for services to Film Music and London Symphony Orchestra. (...) Here is the question if they specifically honored only the popular ones with the LSO, i.e. Star Wars 1-6, Superman, Raiders and eventually the second Harry Potter. Or they mean the complete discography of John Williams/LSO? The lesser known works such as The Fury, Dracula and Monsignor.
  9. Well, KotCS was released in a regular jewel case in Australia. I have that one. You could easily find it on Australian (online) shops in that days. I don't know, I'm thinking about selling it someday because I have KotCS in the box set anyway. Not a fan of redundancy.
  10. It's rather confusing. The PC Collector's Edition says "Includes Grim Fandango Remastered Original Soundtrack" where as XBox and PS4 Edition you get a seperate listing contains "Grim Fandango Remastered Original Soundtrack" as you can see in the picture. Same as Return to Monkey Island. I hope my PC copy of Return to Monkey Island Collector's Edition is a audio CD. It is not clearly stated but I thought PC Game + Original Soundtrack means either the game plus audio in only one CD or 2CD's (1CD game and the other CD is the soundtrack). Or LRG doesn't want to list two jewel cases at the same time and then they stated "Includes... Original Soundtrack". In the picture you clearly see the jewel case says "Original Soundtrack", but the description stated "Orignial soundtrack + PC game". Or maybe an error because they designed that picture for the console games first and forget to change the cover of the jewel case.
  11. The "digital-physical release" is bundled with the Grim Fandango Remastered Collector's Edition from Limited Run Games.
  12. 01. The Empire Strikes Back 02. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 03. Star Wars A New Hope 04. Raiders of the Lost Ark 05. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 06. The Fury 07. The Rise of Skywalker 08. The Last Jedi 09. The Force Awakens 10. The Adventures of Tintin
  13. Is John Williams joking or real? He was asked about new releases of his older works in near future. He said he just approved a 30 disc set of Star Wars, 15 CDs of Indiana Jones and 4 discs from Hook inclusive the abandoned Musical which he had recorded completely but told nobody before. And he approved the score to Sugarland Expres, The Rare Breed and Story of a Woman because he find it not too bad. And a new expansion from Heartbeeps, which he compares with Beethoven 5th. I think he is joking. EDIT: Never mind. Good take crumbs!
  14. Can anyone tell me how is the sound quality compared the FYC? Is the mix on the FYC still better than on the new edition? I want to skip the deluxe edition possibly, because the FYC doesn't have that song and I like the better artwork. How about the booklet of the deluxe edition?
  15. There is also a FYC 3-disc version. The first two discs with the complete score and the third disc with the song. This is the version I own. Here are the pictures: In a HTTYD fan forum, a user explained that the two disc version is only a upcovert from mp3. Maybe from the FYC site. But it is possible that he bought a fake one. I don't know. But he claims the one disc version and the eventuelly the three disc version is lossless. I like this version, because of the absence of the song. On the newly released deluxe edition I would skip that track. And in FSM one guy stated the FYC is not mixed to loud if you compared to the OST. Can anyone confirm this issue? Anyway, here is the link where I got that info: https://howtotrainyourdragon.proboards.com/thread/973/httyd-consideration-score
