What 2014 films are you most interested in seeing?

I just read this interesting article on 2014 films coming out that aren't sequels, prequels, reboots, or adaptations:

http://www.buzzfeed.com/wordsbydan/14-movies-in-2014-that-arent-sequels-prequels-r-b6bd?bffb

I have not seen a trailer for most of these movies, let alone even heard of most of them. But many sound intriguing!

Of course beyond those types of films, there are many franchise movies coming out, like X-Men 6, Transformers 4, Hobbit 3, Hunger Games 3, Night at the Museum 3, Expendables 3, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Captain America 2, Muppets 2, Spider-man 2, Dumb and Dumber 2, Veronica Mars, Robocop, Godzilla, etc.

Here's a complete list

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_in_film

If I could only see 5 films in the theater in 2014, they would be:

The Hobbit: There and Back Again

Interstellar

Jupiter Ascending

Sin City 2

Gone Girl

So what are you excited for?

No love for the Sin City sequel fellas?

Also I'm interesting in Gone Girl solely because it's a Fincher film - I have seen every film he's done since Fight Club in the theater (and liked to loved them all)

Interstellar, by far

I also want to see In the Heart of the Ocean, since I loved the book so much

I'm quite curious with The Grand Budapest Hotel and Godzilla

What's In the Heart of the Ocean about?

It's about the how the whaleship Essex was sunk by a furious spermwhale which was being hunted down, and the crew survived in the open sea in just a long boat. It's a quite shocking story, involves a great deal of cannibalism. It was this event that inspired Melville on Moby Dick

Wow! I'm intrigued!

Another 2014 film I'm interested in is Our Robot Overlords, from the director of Grabbers and starring Gillian Anderson and Ben Kingsley

Oh I read that a number of years back. Fantastic!

Forgot Godzilla and Guardians Of The Galaxy! Godzilla is probably the film I'm most interested in! How could I forget that one?

Oh yes, Guardians too for me definitely.

I'd watch anything with Gillian Anderson. Even the Hunger Games.

12 Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street and Inside Llewyn Davis are 2014 films where I live, and I hope to see them all before long. I suppose The Hobbit: There and Back Again is the film which I'm most interested in. I know little or nothing about any of the other films which have been mentioned here...

In no particular order:

Interstellar

Godzilla

Noah

Gone Girl

Exodus

Transcendence

The Hobbit 3

X-Men: Days of Future Past

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

The Lego Movie

The Giver

Jupiter Ascending

Loos like Pacific Rim Meets Ender's Game.

No. It looks way worse. Looks like one of those The Asylum mockbusters.

Top of my head and in no order:

Godzilla

Hobbit 3

Dumb and Dumber 3

Sin City 2

The Hunger Games 3

I'm waiting to see how dull and deathly serious Interstellar appears to be before considering it.
