  1. Didn't realize it was tracked music. Was it tracked from a previous cue in ROTS? I didn't think they put any of the tracked music from EI&II in the E3 OST, so I figured this must still be from ROTS but perhaps earlier.
  2. Quick question concerning the ROTS Edit. I was comparing my old edit list with the one currently in this thread and noticed that this que had some changes. 14. DRAWING SWORDS Reel 4 Deconstruction 0:00-0:32.5 Where did the mix/paste OST t1 4:46-5:21 disappear to? This is the horns right after Grevious is spinning his blades (Deconstruction) and Kenobi makes a thrust in and engages the battle? The Deconstrution definitely goes there but the OST seems like a majority of the fight. Here's how the old edit looked: OBI-WAN FARES DROIDS/ GAL mus_wookiee_quest_fail all DRAWING SWORDS/GRIEVOUS ATTACKS/ GAL mus_avatar_platform_final 0:00-0:06 mix/paste OST t1 4:46-5:21 GOOD GUYS ARRIVE mix/paste GAL mus_avatar_platform_final 0:58-end And now it looks like this: 13. OBI-WAN FARES DROIDS GAL mus_wookiee_quest_fail all 14. DRAWING SWORDS Reel 4 Deconstruction 0:00-0:32.5 15. GOOD GUYS ARRIVE Reel 4 Deconstruction 1:09-1:19.5 GAL mus_avatar_platform_final 1:05-end
  3. Well this has been really great so far! I've been cutting my teeth on Audition for quite a while now. I'm an amature video editor in my spare time and I've used it for very very simple things like reducing noise, etc, but nothing on this scale. My first couple tries at the second track were a bit cludgy. Sounded ok, but definitely not up to my standards. After some frustration with Audition, I went back to my trusty pal Premiere. Yeah, it's a video editor, but I'm so fluent in it, editing audio is a snap for me. So I cut the track as the cue sheet indicated and everything sounds great! Wonderful transitions that I can barely even notice, if at all, but I really wanted the opening panning down shot with the wonderful drum beats. I ripped the DVD audio, but still some SFX noise in there. I think the next shot will be to loop the drum beat to avoid having the exteranious noises. Take a listen and tell me what you think. I had to transisition from the OST to the DVD at the end of the opening to get it to work properly. The OST as you know doesn't follow the same as the score. EDIT: Links removed out of fear and trepidation. Didn't realize a super low quality 1 minute sample was a problem. Thanks anyway.
  4. I'd love to but have 0 skills. Guess I'll wait the years till it's released commercially.
  5. As a complete noob, my problem wouldn't be extracting the music files, but the actual arranging of the score outlined above. I have 0 musical talent what-so-ever, but oh do I love listening to it. Any chance someone out there might compile such a work for those of us who have purchased all the pieces but just can't assemble the puzzle?
