  1. I came here to ask if others got autographed copies, but I see it has been explained! Good thing we know it's Lennertz, I would have had to toss it if it turned out to be Ramin...
  2. I ordered this the morning it was made available and finally got a shipping notice today. I understand that glitches happen, but it's completely unacceptable that it took a week and a half to fix. Varese could have at least sent out an email stating there would be a delay.
  3. Woohoo! This came sooner than I thought it would. Not that I'm complaining, of course! Aloha is absolutely gorgeous. Anyone else notice that The Hole Shabang runs longer on this album?
  4. Yep. At least the ending of that track is different. Yeah, that's what I first noticed. In the show, it had a more harsh percussion beat at the end. I also don't recall any of the material that starts off the cue. I noticed the same thing during the action segment of Jacob's Ladders. Speaking of which, am I the only one who can't get enough of the Man in Black's theme?
  5. While The Hole Shabang is indeed great, I can't help but be disappointed that it ends right before the epic statement of the main theme.
  6. I didn't see any discussion of this one. It's now available via digital download. I'm quite impressed with the score and was wondering if anyone else here has heard it.
  7. I have the soundtrack already. I just wanted to lend my support. This music is awesome!
  8. Anyone else catch Giacchino's use of "The Shipyards of Lorient" from Medal of Honor: Frontline to represent the sub once again? He also used it in The Man from Tallahassee when Locke boards the sub before blowing it up.
  9. I'm fairly certain that 'Of Mice and Ben' is the amazing statement of the O6 theme that concludes There's No Place Like Home Part 1. So I'm Happy! Could 'Time and Time Again' contain the excellent music for the introduction to the freighter in The Constant?
  10. Any idea if one of these tracks is the finale of There's No Place Like Home Part 1? That's my favorite statement of the O6 theme. Also, I believe Via Domus was completely original score. I could be wrong, but it seemed that way to me.
  11. I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before, but here goes. Let's say you didn't want to edit Marcus is Captured/To Berlin. Where would you insert it into the album? Also, is there any reason to not switch Alarm! and Scherzo? It seems odd that the albums are mostly chronological except for that very obvious exception. And finally, what exactly is edited out of Desert Chase? I have the DCC so it's not a big deal. I was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what was missing. Thanks! I've enjoyed lurking around for the past months and thought I'd speak up for once!
  12. Maybe I'm insane, but it seemed like some of the music in the extended edition replaced music in the theatrical. I.E. When Aragorn is fighting just before Legolas scales the elephant, or as Aragorn leads troops away from Minas Tirith and we see his Gondor armor for the first time. They are slight differences, but in both cases I prefer the theatrical version. Can I assume these will be included on the CR?
  13. I don't personally have it, but I am very sure it has been released in some form. I know someone who told me they had it. That's about all I can tell you.
  14. That might be a good idea. Those cues always seemed very abrupt when strung together without the source music.
