RedBard 71
In light of the new SW movie coming out next year, I wanted to take this time to challenge of those who know the SW music cues like the back of their own hand.See if you can name all the correct music cues in this audio from the original Star Tours (starting at 0:33): Be sure to include the Cue Title and time stamp where it happens in the video. Numerical list is most preferred.Good luck.
Datameister 2,037
From memory: [low octaves on A with tam-tam hit] "The Asteroid Field" [skipping forward a little in "The Asteroid Field"] [skipping much earlier in "The Asteroid Field"] [very brief transition into octaves on C] [back to the beginning of "The Asteroid Field"] "Losing a Hand" [another octave transition] "Here They Come" [original cue title unknown] "Through the Window"

RedBard 71
Cool.Well, seeing as how I started this thread, I'll hijack it myself and go another round.Same challenge. This time, with the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. And as a side note, I'm especially interested in those extended string techniques at 1:19-1:28.If anyone could explain those to me, I would appreciate it. Datameister 2,037
I can do this one by memory, too, but I'll let someone else jump in. As for those string techniques, they're pretty much just a bunch of random notes, some being played pizzicato, some being played sul ponticello, and some being played as long, sliding glissandi (possibly on harmonics, not sure). It's basically a mashup of a passage from "The Cave" (the jittery pizzicato plucking) and another from "The Floor That Moves" (the slithery Eb clarinet solo and low sul ponticello churning).
