  1. I'm not sure listening to mockups and samples of a score is the best way to preview it. You are not hearing it in the true sound and mix and totally outside of its created purpose, which is to support the film. Your mind is left to fill in the blanks too much, which is a disservice to the composer.
  2. The concert was a huge success. Immediate standing ovation with many long applauses between tunes. The concert version of Dartmoor 1912 is one of Williams' most emotional and touching pieces of music ever. Some audience members were brought to tears. Cecilia Tsan was superb on Sayuri's Theme. I could go on and on. Unfortunately at this time none of our concert recordings are available to listen or purchase. As usual, money is an issue. If this interests you support is the answer so spread the word. I would love to create a CD of these concert suites. It is well deserved and GSPO would be perfect for the job. Now, just need the funding. Thanks for the support! Fox

  13. I've been visiting this site for many years and am a conductor of a pops orchestra in Los Angeles. This was the first time I felt like giving my opinion on something.
  14. This new collaborative website is a disgrace to both composers. It lessons Mr. Williams' legacy, and to call Mr. Giacchino the "new Williams" is disrespectful to him as his own composer. Each deserves their own fan site, especially Mr. Williams for the reputation he has built for over 40 years. No one else should come even close to sharing space with him.
