A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) - 2015 3CD set from La-La Land Records

The Oscar promo was a complete mess with repeated cues. I can't imagine that would be replicated here.

And it's not replicated. This release was rebuilt from the ground up with Mr Williams's full support. 1941, Hook, and Empire of the Sun paved the way for this great release and for future Williams/Spielberg projects yet to come.

I wonder if it'll include the electronic music composed by.... (i remember it was someone else than Williams, right? Maybe his son?)

You mean the "Moon Rising" cue that was already on the OST?

Or are you talking about the "Dr. Know-It-All" sequence?

Yeah Joseph Williams assisted with those electronics.

From the Gorfaine/Schwartz CV of Joseph Williams:

A.I. Artificial Intelligence

*3 cues (source and featured)

I think there was some techno stuff when David was trying to escape in the helicopter. (edit: Yes, i just found the scene)

Is that in the Moon Rising track?

Can anyone see Search for the Blue Faerie film version...it better be on there

I think I see "Finding the Blue Fairy" as track 3 on Disc 2, and possibly two alternates as tracks 9 and 10 on Disc 3.

you're right.

I don't know what is exactly written, but whatever is in D2T3 is also in D3T9 & 10.

When are we expected to see the track list? A few days before release?

Sweet, that's every track figured out, then!

(Apart from what it says in the parenthesis in some)

If there are three Finding the Blue Fairy tracks, I think it is safe to assume one of them is the film version. KM should be happy. ;)

Comparing this to the oscar promo and the list of slate and cue names we know from the sheets, it APPEARS that nothing is missing!

Seeing the cue list, I see there is a new insert and new ending for Reading the words.

So, I assume something will be missing, since we have only 1 track of Reading the words. (if the track list is correct)

(I see the version used in the film is with the New Ending. So the original ending is either unrecorded or probably not used in this release)

Since they say there are 2 hours of unreleased music, I doubt they could have the full score and the OST on this set and still have enough space for two hours of unreleased music

Considering that about 60 minutes of music were on the OST, they can easily have 2 hours of unreleased music on three discs.

(unless the original or new version is unrecorded. I'm not sure which was used in the film)

I believe only one version of 2M1 Reading The Words was recorded, with the 2m1 New Insert and 2M1 New Ending already integrated before recording.

Can anybody figure out what Disc 3, Track 7 says?

Yes, but they couldn't have the complete score without repeating tracks from the OST, hence my reasoning. But since I caught a bit of Alex's disease, the tracklist seems to be figured out already :)

Jay, looking at Track 7 it seems to be something with an L, E and K or A.

So basically (Question marks are illegible letters):
L???? E?? (Ell? Ela? Ea?) K/A?????

Well if there is a whole CD of alternates along with the 2 hour score (including 1 hour of material from the OST) it could run for an extra hour and thus we have 2 hours of unreleased music. ;)

Could that be Dr. Know? Meet Dr. Know or something like that?

So, this could be around $35? or more?

What ever it is, I'll pay it!

But they are selling e.g Wyatt Eartp at 29.98 and Star Trek at 34.98 so it might around 30-35 dollars.

But I mean to say is that the OST program would have to be dropped necessarily. Now, obvisouly, I would assume all the tracks are in here, in their correct order

WOW!!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!! I never thought an expanded release of the Maestro's work would have three CDs worth of material. I always thought it was two CDs. This is truly awesome.

Disc 3 does't appear to be the OST - the OST was 13 tracks, and Disc 3 here is 14.

Looking at the words at the top, it looks like it says

ONE The Film Score

TWO The Film Score (Continued)

THREE Additional Music

And it looks like For Always is tracks 1 (Fabian) and 14 (Fabian/Groban) of Disc 3

THREE looks like "Alternative Score" to me. Anyone else see it?

Yes that is correct. They are not including the OST as the extra CD as it has been the way with several other releases (e.g. Rosewood).

If they didn't include the songs too, I wouldn't mind at all..

As for the future Williams/Spielberg releases MV alluded too, I hope Lost World is in the pipeline (I'm assuming Jaws and ET will be Intrada releases)

Clumsily fixed ;)
