All the Girion stuff is pretty pointless. They should just have mentioned him by name, instead of showing a flashback.

The added bit in the AUJ EE prologue felt completely random. Like a last minute (well, even last second) addition, just to have more additional footage to offer on the Blu-Ray.

And isn't that just the same stuff reused in DoS anyway?
Yeah. Same goes for the Azog flashbacks in DoS EE. Completely useless.

I stand behind every post I have ever done!

You should stand in front of them, not behind. We can't see you if you shield yourself with padding!

I wonder if the windlance was invented for pickups, or always part of the plan.

Shame, and boggling really, that it doesn't pay off in BOFA.

Even if it was done during pick-ups, did they then have the idea...why not have Bard shoot it from his sons shoulder instead?

Why don't have Bard shoot his son on Smaug instead? He would be known as Bain of Smaug!

I know this is old, but:

There was really no way it could have, in the current form of the film.

Bard couldn't use the windlance because he did not know where Bain had hid the Black Arrow, and he thought Bain had left I guess..

Like the black guy sperm in Everything You ever Wanted to Know about Sex, what is this doing here.
