  1. That's awesome! And also what it always boils down to: personal taste, make what works for you
  2. Yes, I was referring to the tracked "Offshore Drilling" ending on "Chutes And Matter". I'm used to hearing that cue in it's film version, so that's my preference. It was easy to create, just turn it down 1 semitone and it matches as heard in the film. The choir in "Nice To Meld You" is actually quite stunning! I can't believe I never noticed before when watching it. Just one of those "awe" moments. But even with these newest "additions" to the score, what's one more thing you would add to make it the perfect edit? I'm torn between certain drum inserts and the choir in "Narada Burns".
  3. So with these "leaked" choir cues from the recording sessions and the "Chutes And Matter" insert at the end, what is left to make it the perfect score? Alt Main Titles, Correct opening to "I've Fallen And I Can't Beam Up", and the choir from "Nero Fiddles, Narada Burns" (which is fine with Data's edit)? Is that it? Which reminds me, anyone notice the additional Ehru in "Welcome Back, Spock"? Pretty cool stuff!
  4. I have them as well, which is why I was asking. I was wondering if anyone knew where they came from? They sound pretty authentic to me.
  5. So, just out of curiosity, have the cues with the missing choir ever turned up?
  6. I liked the one in Contact. It's beautifully shot...you see them struggling on the video monitor....crazy guy hits the detonator....screen goes blank and you see the explosion in the distance. Pretty neat! (if you stayed awake long enough to reach that part anyway)
  7. Listening to this release makes me appreciate all the hard work that you put into your edit, Data. That has been a real joy these past 6-7 months. It's not entirely obsolete yet...it may prove handy for certain cues and sections that did not make it. Thanks again!
  8. I like JNH's work on the Fugitive. The main theme was okay, but I enjoyed the chase and fight sequences. Unbreakable is another good one IMO. The scene in the train station where Bruce reads people (Visions)...fantastic music.
  9. That's actually pretty damn funny! So how is everything turning out? Is the project a success for everyone? If so, I may do the same thing...but all I have is ACID Studio. Hope that will be enough
  10. Thanks for all input on this. I'll definitely work something out.
  11. Lol! Love the enthusiasm! That's good to know it runs in film order. So is Willow's Theme a concert suite?
  12. I'm not that familiar with the score (other than recognizing it for its amazing themes) and was wondering if the score itself is chronological to the film? I want to make shorter tracks for my iTunes. Just my personal tastes....an 18 minute track doesn't work for me. How would any of you break this score down into shorter chronological tracks?
  13. Are you sure you didn't get addware on your computer? I'm going to check . So far this has been working wonders for me Ad Muncher See if that works for ya
