  1. I'm in my first year of marching band in the very first Everglades Gator Band (go Gators!). We have a great latin jazz show with songs from the Mambo Kings soundtrack, and three other awesome songs. However, I've been trying to no avail to find a recording of the main piece, 'Spain' by Chick Corea. It's a marching band arrangement, done by Tom Wallace. If anybody has any luck could they please respond to this thread or email me at dreburden@bellsouth.net Also I'm looking for Stiletto Opener/Closer by Bill Locklear. Thanks guys!
  2. This is the movie I am anticipating the most, yet after watching the trailer, my excitement was somewhat decreased...maybe wanted to stick with the mystery until I could see a theatrical trailer instead.
  3. I'm sure many videogame heads here at JWFAN.net have heard of this remake (Twin Snakes) and sequel (Snake Eater). Disappointingly, Twin Snakes is being released for GameCube instead of PS2, but here is a link to the trailer. http://jpn01.konami.co.jp/movie/mgs_tts/mg...tts_e32k3_e.asf I have the Snake Eater trailer, but it's eleven minutes long, and I don't want to hog up too much bandwith. Most likely, Twin Snakes will be worth buying a GameCube and a GameBoy Advance (for connectibility)
  4. Yes, this is purely a lecture about the evils of P2P file-sharing, not an excuse for Hips to say, 'I've got unreleased scores, and you don't, and I'm not telling where I got them.' All in good nature, Hips
  5. I think it's just the shrunken sweater that he's wearing and the makeup (presumably from an action scene). What's with Oldman's tats? Are they makeup for Sirus or real?
  6. Who is this 'Tom Riddle' ripping off of my screenname?! Just kidding, from one Heir to another, welcome to the board.
  7. I was listening to 'July 4, 1839'(the part with the up-and-down string motif and the chanting) and 'Cinque's Theme'. For some reason, after turning the CD player off, I got quite misty-eyed...what beautiful music
  8. Breathmask, you are so right. After reading this, I listened to 'Platform Nine and Three-Quarters', I love that part after the choral voices with the upbeat brass marking the entry into the Great Hall. Another moment is in 'Baby Harry's Arrival', with the sad strings perfectly capturing Hagrid's sadness in parting with Harry.
  9. I am currently looking for music by Japanese composers on WINMX; can anybody suggest any?
  10. How do we know this is an authentic picture? If it is, however, it looks promising. However, I was under the impression that Hayden wasn't going to play the adult Anakin.
  11. The opening titles for CMIYC were scored to an animated segment, right? Just imagine a whole film with that kind of creativity freedom for JW. Like Hector prompted me to say, there's much more JW can do creatively...
  12. I thought that comic freeze-frame was corny, though, and got annoyed when the audience laughed. Some of the comic book page edits were awkward too, like when it segued into Bruce's mother in labor. And they used way too many split-screens during conversations. But I liked when Betty says, 'Two words. The door.'
  13. This sounds very much like saying what he should write, or for better reference: And also: Good one, Hector, you're so stupid you called me a mofo and then put the actual phrase in hidden text (spelt it wrong, as well) How old are you, ten, twelve? banghead :micro: Sorry, I couldn't find one icon to express my disgust.
  14. Sorry, I don't understand your English.
  15. Nope. John Williams has certainly not exhausted what can be done in a film score, as evidenced by A.I., Minority Report, and A.I. I am most anticipating 'Terminal' and 'Walter Mitty'. Who are you to tell anybody what John Williams should and should not write for?
