  1. Hi everyone. I'm a long time reader, very occasional poster. Thought i'd reply to this. Confluence - Memoirs of a Geisha (I really think this is some of the most beautiful music i've ever heard) The Search For The Blue Fairy - A.I. (As an aspiring young writer, for some reason this peice inspires me more than any other) Auschwitz-Birkenau - Schindler's List ( Terrifying scene, with brilliant music to match, just so haunting) The Asteroid Field - The Empire Strikes Back (I truly believe this to be the most brilliant action cue in film history) Remembering Childhood - Hook (Pure magic) The was difficult, but i'm happy with my choices. Bye all
  2. So, what's the verdict ChrisAfonso? Is it the best script of the prequels? Hell, does it have the possibilites to match up to any of the OT movies?
  3. pretty sure, look at it for yourself. It's the illistrated version, and I'm almost 100% sure it's genuine.
  4. http://www.millenniumfalcon.com/phpbb/view...4695ec06e9e54d8 You can get it there. I've already downloaded it, but haven't read it...yet. It's so tempting. BTW, you have to scroll down and download it from the latest posting of the link to the "shareit" (or watever it is) website. Joel - testing his self control
  5. Its absolutely stunning. It's original, its different, its very fresh. I think it could easily become widely known as John Williams' best score for a whole decade, i honestly can't think of any score that conjured such magic, emotion and wonder on a whole with a first listen. The dry-spell is over. Buckbeak's Flight brought tears to my eyes and so many moments made me tingle all over. Joel-who is obviously head over heels with this score. And just like K.M., only POA threads mattered for me today, i even went to loads of other boards to discuss and to see what others thought of the score. The response seems to be that many people are very surprised by it, in a good way. SO HAPPY
  6. This is a beautiful score. Its so amazing and really very original and different from the previous HP scores. I am absolutely loving it. Its emotional, i reckon its by far the best score so far this year(almost definately). Well done Mr. Williams on creating a very original and magical score! Joel-very happy
  7. damn, i wanted to see it for the nudity of women, but if its got male nudity, not only is that daring, but it tourns me off wanting to see the film. I'll still see it regardless, i want battles, YAY! And it can't be as bad as Van Helsing, which i saw last night and walked out of the theatre feeling as though my IQ had dropped several points.
  8. Hey magical_me, are you in BLOC's "Jesus Christ Superstar" or in Lyric's "Chicago" because i live in ballarat too and i'm in JC this year. and i agree with magical_me that being an actor and working with all the cast, crew, sets, costumes ect. should be enough.
  9. Terrific trailer. I wasn't really very excited about this movie, but the trailer has changed that. I can't wait to see what Williams does, the film looks like it could produce a small, but charming score from him. That was my favourite part of the trailer, when the credits briefly rolled past at the end and they said "Music by JOHN WILLIAMS". Its great to see those words after a year and a half of dry spell. I can't wait to hear PoA and, now, The Terminal.
  10. I'm a little upset about the dursleys being cut, but its a thing which i will probably get used too. As for the remurs of where the film actually begins, i read that it will start at either the burrow or the quidditch world cup. Which could work quite well, all it really needs is that "it was good that we convinced your aunt and uncle to let you come with us" line. Still, i am a little dissapointed. BTW, HPFAN, weren't you saying that you were looking forward to GOF because Newell looked like he knew what he was doing. But i bet if cauron cut out the Dursleys, you would be going mental about it. Just commenting because i am dying to see that changes cauron makes with POA and i am more worried about GOF because i don't think Newell is a very capable director.
  11. HPFAN, why are you being so difficult? I don't understand. I cannot help but question your taste in directors and movies. All you do is complain and complain, you always say things which are EXTREMELY poorly backed-up and you are so pesamistic about the film that you don't even give it a chance. Every single peice of footage and every pic that comes out, you just HAVE say nothing but negative things. I'm sick of it to be honest. I find it incredibly annoying. Here is a quote from HPFAN on another topic: GIVE US A BREAK! We want to see this movie, you directly attacked our opinion when you said this! Well, now i'm attacking yours! I think what you have been saying is pointless and pessimistic! Too be honest, i feel so sorry for you, that you can't enjoy the hype with the rest of us. To be frank, if you aren't willing to give the film a chance, You don't deserve to enjoy it. All i can say is that it sucks to be you, because i can't wait to see what Cauron does with POA and i can't wait till the film is released. Joel-who (i'm truly sorry) had to get that off his chest
  12. I think that whole rumor about Naomi Watts being approuched for umbridge is so crap, i have no idea where these rumors come from or who makes them up. I read it on mugglenet, its just as bad as the rowen atkinson for voldemort. There isn't even a director for the 5th one yet. I reckon the 5th movie could be great, its my fav in the series at the moment, but it all depends on the script. I hope Kloves does a good job with it (presuming he stays with the project). I hope Cauron comes back to direct it, but are you guys serious when say the 5th one will suck? because if you are, i dont see which angle you are coming from. Joel-Dying for the third film and the soundtrack
  13. Crap. Sorry bout that delete the topic niel. (i dunno if i can)
  14. From CountingDown.com AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Re-work it HIMSELF!?!?!?!?! Please no! And Spielberg is letting him even though he loved it, may god help us. :micro: censored censored censored
