Wojo 2,453
I don't have an iPod, and while I may only have 82 hours of music on this computer, it's not all movie music. It's a happy blend of movie scores, classic rock, and classical music, with a small smattering of contemporary rock.I started through about halfway using the rock music in the playlist, and it just kept going to those tracks. A few were uncanny, like a song that begins "I don't belong here" for the first day of school, but the rest were tedious. I cut the rock out of Winamp's list, randomized the list three times, and jumped through on Shuffle. Can't get any more random than that. So this is my second attempt.Opening Credits: The Hospital Dream, from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, by Danny Elfman. We already scared some people out of the theater. This should be interesting.Waking Up: Space Camp (concert arrangement), by John Williams. Those horns really do convince me to want to get out of bed and have the enthusiasm to face the day.First Day At School: Mother Wendol's Cave, from The 13th Warrior, by Jerry Goldsmith. What kind of school is this? Is the teacher going to eat me instead of the apple?Falling In Love: Morning Serenade, from Romeo and Juliet, by Sergei Prokofiev. Guitar, violin, and piccolo, how sweet.Breaking Up: Pan and the Full Moon, from Pan's Labyrinth, by Javier Navarrete. Must've been a helluva breakup.Prom: Juliet alone, Interlude, from Romeo and Juliet, by Sergei Prokofiev. Um, we just broke up, so she went to the prom alone.Life's OK: Trucking, from CEOT3K, by John Williams. From the sounds of it, life's not ok, but we'll just say it is.Mental Breakdown: Wheatfield, from Twister, by Mark Mancina. I don't get it.Driving: Scene (Act II, Track 5), from The Sleeping Beauty, by Tchaikovsky. If we're driving, we obviously are in the slow lane with the blinkers on.Flashback: Frogs, from ET, by John Williams. The music sounds foggy, as I guess the memories are.Getting Back Together: Marion's Theme, from Raiders, by John Williams. By jove, I think this music fits the scene.Birth of Child: The Patriot Reprise, by John Williams. Huh, how?Wedding: The Final Confrontation, from Batman, by Danny Elfman. Again, this one is stupid.Final Battle: Love Theme, from The Blue Max, by Jerry Goldsmith. If THAT was the wedding, then the battle must be with the wife.Death Scene: Brody Panics, from Jaws, by John Williams. Meh.Funeral Song: The Temple of Doom, by John Williams. Outstanding. A track where somebody dies.End Credits: Pomp and Circumstance March #1, by Elgar. What an ending!
