Do you find it a little "convenient" that they both have movies coming out in a month?

Okay.to be fair I listened to the album again and I will say that after seeing the movie some tracks are more memorable now. I guess what I was looking for was an album that could stand up on its own such as when the first three movies came out. I jut feel pre-internet, downloads etc....having the music to a movie made you relive it over an over and sometimes i think that it is just nostalgia, but the music from that time is still living up to its potential even now. And I respect JW if he is breaking the mold by attempting something new. And being in the creative indusrty I can understand how you have to continue down differnet avenues. But before he scores his last film.........It would be nice to hear another bombastic all out frenzy for old times sake....

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! I never knew by writing something very quickly because I am in a hurry could have such a deep meaning! I gave my opinion and I am waiting for yours in regards to whether or not you like the movie score. Instead you give attacks like you wrote the music yourself.... Waiting for your review of it.....

Could not have agreed more!................But I am the jackass for saying the score is boring and lackluster.....Go figure...

The only good track on the album and in the movie is the lightsaber duel, mainly because it isand used music from the empire strikes back and reminds you of what a truly great score was. Not to offend anyone.....but to like everything an artist does all the time is one dimensional and boring. You have to be honest with your opinion and say when something is not done to its potential.

I am sorry, but being a huge JW fan, the music in ROTS is borderline ponderous. So many moments could have reached the stratosphere but instead sputtered like an old chevy nova. The movie would have been ten times better witha more traditional score and I know there will be peole on this forum saying things like..."This is a new sound", "Open your mind"........ My response...."It's Star Wars folks.........it's supposed to be fun!" I know a lot of you share the same thoughts......come on..admit it.......

I came across a track labeled revenge of the sith opening and last about 5 minutes. It sounds legit. Does anyone else have any inforamtion on this?
