I really like Sony cameras. Though my next one will not be a Sony.

Edit: Wojo, I've got a Sony Cybershot but ya my next camera won't be a Sony probably will be a Canon Rebel.

I'm thinking Canon or Nikon. I've got an underwater case for my camera, which is the main reason I'm holding onto it, if only to keep it safe in the rain and snow. But it's five years old, 3x optical zoom, and 4.1 MP. I need an SLR with a huge long range optical zoom.

Uhm... no.

Kinda. Why listen to your earbuds while driving if the radio is right there? Why listen on headphones if the speakers are right there? I know what it sounds like on the headphones, it's not like the second I plug them in I'm gonna be stunned by the sound quality.

no, you need an SLR and a bunch of lenses covering a good range of focal lengths. :D All in one lenses with huge ranges arent very good optically.

I have a Canon Digital Rebel. The lens sucks ass, but that's because it's the standard one. Good lenses are too expensive.

It's true that Sony products are a pain in the ass to use....especially their MP3 players with SonicStage software and ATRAC files..

I tried one before my ipod. They would actually add DRM on MY OWN MP3's before loading them into the player (not only did it take forever, but it's just wrong) . And it sounded like crap with max volume waaay too low (about 1/3 the max volume of ipods...not enough to drive most earphones).I'm sure they improved since then but it left a really bad impression.

My Sony Walkman is very easy to use. I'm uploading everthing in Windows Lossless and have had no problems. Sounds great too, with the right headphones.

It should have a sound output high enough to drive more than "certain earphones" .

I bought these today. They're very good so far.
Repeat the JWFan pledge after me: 'I hereby recognise John Towner Williams' place in the world as the great composer there has ever been, and I therefore renounce the works of Rozsa, Korngold, Herrmann, Horner, Kamen, Giacchino (unless the prophecy is fulfilled and he becomes the heir to JTW) and Goldsmith, especially Goldsmith. I understand that if I ever refer to Jurassic Park as anything less than "a masterpiece sixty-five million years in the making" I will be resigned to living out my days at the Zimmershrine.'

After reading this review ,I had to try a pair of the new Shure SE115

http://i.gizmodo.com...he-new-top-buds

Edit: After 1 full day of listening I can say they gave a great first impression but they have too much bass therefore have a muddy sound.

Shure SE 115: Too much bass /muddy highs ...back to the store they go. Probably better suited for rock music than film scores .

Shure E2C (also called the I2C and SE 102) are still my favourite ,but are a bit bulky and uncomfortable ...that's why I want to find better ones in that respect.

Now I am trying these Apple in ear (new 2009 model) ,they were also on my short list.

http://www.apple.com...nearheadphones/

Are these the ones? Stay tuned

**Edit: Apple in Ear Review:

Over pronounced mids and lack of bass making them sound "thin" , although they have decent detail in the music .I guess they did that for vocals but for film scores they suck

There was a opened package of those Skullcandy Titans Neil mentioned so I tried them on the spot. They had a nice and even range, but a bit of a sibilance in the 4k range .I think they need to be equalized
