Greetings!

I'm looking for a full John Williams discography. Forgive me, please, if there is one on this website... I can't seem to find it.

The discography I'm looking for would even include Joy To The World from 1991, not just film scores.

Where does such a webpage exist?

THANKS!!!
chris

the best places to go are these:

http://musicby.jw-music.net/

http://mahawa.jw-music.net/scores.htm

and unless that's on a commercially released cd, try not looking under "discography," try simply finding "works list" or something along those lines...
Is it not sad that in this time, we are more surprised by acts of love than acts of hate?

Dare I say that my site has the most complete discography available -- even if it isn't update in a couple of years ;)

Not a discography, but a films list. I know it's not exactly what he was asking, it's just another good resource so I thought I'd mention it.

It is, but it's also a really good database for non-Williams CDs, including boots. It was down for months and months though, at least for me, just checked and it's finally back up.

http://musicby.jw-music.net/ and http://johnwilliams.jw-music.net/ are the most extensive, though both haven't been updated in a while.

When you start getting into every single silva screen cd that has one or more john williams cue was on, like the actor themed compilations and the 4 disc mega boxes, well, it gets pretty crazy, I submitted a ton of them on david vincent's site months (years?) ago but he hasnt got around to approving them or just figured they weren't worth adding?

Thanks for the replies.

I have been able to very easily find Film Scores...

I know that a full works list can get wicked crazy with single songs on albums otherwise full of non-Williams compositions... but I was primarily looking for his main albums all on one page, including such works as the two Christmas CDs plus several others with his name on them.

I think I've been able to piece together all I've been looking for.

Thanks again, I hope to post 'round here some more from time to time!

Dare I say that my site has the most complete discography available -- even if it isn't update in a couple of years :D
