I somehow stumbled across this fantastic forum while googling some topic of orchestration or another. I've been reading so much incredible insight, knowledge, and thoughtful commentary that I can't even remember what brought me here in the first place!

 

I've been a huge JW fan since childhood, and I can't believe I never thought to look for a forum dedicated to serious discussion of his music. I'm almost as wowed by the insight on this forum, as I was when I first heard the Star Wars theme a long time ago, in a Cineplex far, far away...

 

A big thank you to everyone who makes this forum such a wonderful repository and discussion of incredible wisdom on John Williams, film-scoring, orchestration, and everything else.
