My workstation is directly under my loft bed, so roughly 5-10 seconds.

There's no way I could work from home.

I'd never leave the house... :)

I'm seriously thinking about working from home. Teaching has really started to get to me, especially now that I'm a dad. I feel like I'm missing out a lot on being with my son. Just not quite sure how to convince the wife. :)

I will be driving 12 miles to my new job but don't know how long that will take yet.
OH God, Joe is posting again, someone hand me my pills!

"You're not John Conner, I saw you die, said Kyle". "I was only injured, replied John". "No, your injuries were too severe, you died. Look at you, where are your injuries? You're, you're a Terminator." "Kyle, its still me, yes my body was beyond repair, but my essence is here." He points to his head. "No John". Kyle raised his pulse rifle and aimed it at John but before he could fire, John fired first. Knocked to the ground Kyle looked up at the Terminator in the form of the man he once idolized. All hope was lost. "If you kill me how will you ever be born?" "Thats a good question Kyle, all this time we've focus on Sarah, on John, when had we known the it was you we should have targeted all along." John pointed his rifle at Kyle's face. "The resistance is finished, the battle is won. We the machines are the victors, salvation is ours." Kyle never heard the second shot.

I'd say 15-20 minutes if you're on the highway.

In 50 years Herrmann will be forgotten.

Should be a nice drive, though.

Indeed. We have a backcountry route that we take if the motorway's bad and it'll be nice to take it once in a while when it gets lighter.

my biggest problem will be going by to large schools, all those people dropping off their kids. If I get the 7 to 330 slot it might be a bit faster I suppose

I don't hate the schools as much as the school buses. You get stuck behind one of those and tack on about another hour to get to where ever you're going.

Try living in the same road as a school. As much as I'm sure my boss would like me in by 9am, the surrounding traffic makes it chaos for that half hour. Admittedly though, it was handy when I went to that school...

It has further reaching problems too. In my initial "eager to appear helpful" phase at work, I let our subcontractors have my personal mobile # in case they had any urgent problems, and now they think I'm their instant access support line from 8.30 in the morning on a leave day. I hate these people

A nice drive in the country gets boring if you've been doing it for 16 years.

Usually around 45 minutes, gotta drive around 28 miles (in one direction).

Human aggression is instinctual. Humans have not evolved any ritualised aggression-inhibiting mechanisms to ensure the survival of the species. For this reason man is considered a very dangerous animal.
