Dude, the FSM is the oficial original OST release, so live with that C&C
I have so far. But in cases such as these, where there is no previous album alternative, I'm kinda forced to make an album program myself with my amateur skills. Not ideal, but what can you do? I've transferred the CD to iTunes anyway, so if I could make a half-way decent program of GOLDFARB, I guess I could do the same with GUIDE. Maybe I'd play it more often then.
question, if there was a rerecording that was C&C of a score that only had a OST, would you rearrange the Rerecording to be like the OST?
John Williams sucks, he doesn't write with a quill pen, there is no emotion in pencil music ! Purcell is the man !Among all the things I have done in my short and pitiful life, becoming an inside joke on JWFAN is the one I'm the least proud of.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but I would try to avoid rearranging stuff myself, whatever the source is. I want to leave that to the album producer and just press 'play'.
But in cases such as GOLDFARB, GUIDE etc., where there aren't any album program alternatives, I might -- MIGHT -- just try to fool around with the tracks a bit myself. It will not be as good as a professionally produced album, but in most cases better than a C&C.

My mind is blown.I meant if the OST is not C&C, but the Rerecording was, would you arrange the Rerecording into the same arrangement as the OST?
This thread has shown me the light. Screw Star Wars, E.T., Indy, Superman and Jaws. John Goldfarb is clearly JW's greatest achievement.

Ars superior est vita hominum.
"We pop out and come into the world and music is there. We didn't invent it - it's all organised in the atmosphere by divinity or whatever. It's a miracle." - John Williams-
I think music is a stream of some kind. It could be blood. It could be water. It could be ether. Whatever it is it seems to be a living, organic force that’s in motion, that serves humanity and is part of humanity and part of what describes us as humans. We sing, play, dance, all the things that we do. And there is a vibrant and great literature we have been given. ... As musicians, we join the stream. We swim in the stream with all the other millions of music makers. It’s a life force, a strong one, surrounding us and we are part of it. -John Williams-

I probably wouldn't buy such a rerecording in the first place.
