This should be one for Koray. ROTFLMAO

Several months ago, I missed out on this release of Il ritorno di Ringo; I ordered it really cheap at Play.com, but they sent the wrong item; I asked for a replacement, but they never got it back in stock (apparently, mine would have been the last copy, but they mixed up the discs and sent the Morricone to someone who never sent it back); a few weeks ago, I finally had them refund it since it's not longer even listed on their website.

Apparently that release is out of print now and going for rather high prices. And now there's this, which isn't cheap but apparently newer and limited. Not sure if it has the same music though, or more, or less.

Any other good releases for this? Prices? Sound quality? (Primarily, I want L'incontro con la figlia, all I've ever heard of the score is this bit used in Inglourious Basterds)

I have that release (the most recent one). I think it's the same as the previous GDM release of the scores, which I have in mp3 format. The total disc time is longer, but a good 40 mins is just the original LP program with dialogue and sound effects. I also want the cue used in Inglourious Basterds, but it's buried in that LP program, which is split up into two 20 minute tracks. I have a goal to buy all of the scores used in IB, I think I have most if not all.

If you like, I could give you a "sample" so you can decide whether it's worth the high cost.

In 50 years Herrmann will be forgotten.

Thanks, but I'll just figure out which release to pick up and possibly wait for it to show up somewhere for a reasonable price. Sounds to me like that old release I missed out on would have been what I need, since the cues seem to be separated there.
