Super Meat Boy? Yes, the soundtrack is released on CD. A double CD set, actually. The link is on that page.

Well, obviously, Lucasarts thought it was wise to wait for me to buy these games on Steam before giving them a physical release. Damn you all !The soundtracks will be included on the Monkey Island: Special Edition - Collection released in Europe in September.
Sorry. I meant those Monkey SEs.

You're in for a treat (or, I assume, you've already realized that by nowAs I'm about to play at Monkey Island 2 for the very first time today, I say let's celebrate this amazing larger-than-life event with some music ! (I've heard that before...)

They might have fixed it for the SE, or perhaps it only ever happened in the Amiga version, but the first time I played MI2, I didn't buy the feather until afterwards, and half the game later I got stuck because of that and had to start over.

Yeah, just when the menu popped up, I knew I was going to prefer this one to MI1. Everything is better than the first episode: the design, the music, the humor, the locations... Good. This is good...You're in for a treat (or, I assume, you've already realized that by now

OK, thanks for the tip!One hint (no spoilers), be sure to buy a feather before you try to climb the great tree.

Actually, where did you get this info from? Because I can't find anything about it on the net, and the description at Amazon might just be poorly worded and refer to the re-done soundtracks in the games themselves.

He was asked if he had any interesting unreleased content to include in the collection, and he was just like "Well, how about 3 CDs worth of music?". Also the MI2-soundtrack (which in-game consists of severeal snippets that get mixed in real-time through iMuse) is pre-mixed of course, to offer somewhat of a "listening experience".
Also the Amazon-description lists the soundtracks under "All-New Monkey Island Special Edition Collection Bonus Content", whereas the remastered music per se is listed under the general features of the games.

Yes, but I was afraid that might just have been confusion on Amazon's part. But your semi-official statement sounds good.

It is the only orchestrated track of Ocarina of Time 3D soundtrack (why in the name of fuck did they just recorded one track? I have no idea!). It features probably the best version of the main theme in orchestral form at 1:27.
By the way, if anyone was interested in buying the The Legend Of Zelda 25Th Anniversary Symphony CD, you should know that it seems that it will only be offered with Skyward Sword, and it will not be released individually.

John Williams sucks, he doesn't write with a quill pen, there is no emotion in pencil music ! Purcell is the man !Among all the things I have done in my short and pitiful life, becoming an inside joke on JWFAN is the one I'm the least proud of.

I'll post the video here, for those who are too lazy to copy/paste the URL.Here is the Skyward Sword theme without SFX: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhzCpsYWqSk
Finally, the very first orchestral Zelda score! Sounds good (although I had hoped the orchestra would feel a bit "bigger"). Can't wait to hear more.

Oh wow. I hadn't heard anything about these albums yet. I was planning on getting Skyward Sword anyway, so the Symphony CD is just double the awesome.Just stumbled upon this:

I don't have any of the Ocarina of Time albums, so I just found/ordered a used copy of that new 3D soundtrack from a "new" seller on Amazon for $25.
Hopefully that won't bomb out on me.
Also, regarding why they didn't redo the entire soundtrack, I found this interview where Kondo says he wanted it to "stay faithful to the Nintendo 64 sound... if you changed the sound like that, it wouldn't be Ocarina of Time!"
A lot of neat stuff in the 6 page interview: http://iwataasks.nin...ina-of-time/0/0

Kondo is a fool. I wish he wasn't involved on OoT remake. Should have been only Yokota working on it. We could have had OoT score in full orchestral form! Damn you, Kondo!

If they reorchestrated everything, wouldnt it be too big for the 3DS's hardware?

Yes. The nostalgia factor with Ocarina of Time is very high and that has to do (subconsciously or otherwise) with the original score. For better or for worse, it would feel like a different game with an orchestral soundtrack, and I don't think that was the goal they were intending to reach.Who? Kondo?

Yokota's one orchestral recording was just put at the end of the credits, right? If there's one thing about OoT's soundtrack that bothers me, it's that the main theme doesn't play over Hyrule Field when you're Adult Link. And I'm not one of those people that's always been outraged that the main theme is never stated outright in OoT. I just think it would have been perfect to show the passage of time and Link's gained maturity. The shoehorning of the main theme into Majora's Mask, on the other hand, was totally unnecessary.

Yeah, I thought about that, too. Maybe that's another reason why they didn't do it.If they reorchestrated everything, wouldnt it be too big for the 3DS's hardware?
That's because of people like you that we were stuck for so long with MIDI-sounding soundtracks for Nintendo games. Shame on you! Thank god they're slowly changing that and starting to offer us orchestral soundtracks more often.Yes. The nostalgia factor with Ocarina of Time is very high and that has to do (subconsciously or otherwise) with the original score. For better or for worse, it would feel like a different game with an orchestral soundtrack, and I don't think that was the goal they were intending to reach.
Yeah, you're right about what Yokota said. Still, we could have had at least better sounding music!Yokota didn't say anything about recording an orchestral soundtrack for OoT 3D. He only mentioned working on "slightly more up to date" arrangements. Maybe it would have been something like the sampled arrangements of Zelda Reorchestrated, which sometimes sound really good... but tend to miss out on the simple and reserved character of the music.
By the way, not that anyone cares, but I never really liked Zelda Reochestrated. It is too much like a "We're trying to make it sound like an orchestra, but it still sounds MIDI" kind of thing
I never noticed the main theme didn't appear even once in OoT!Yokota's one orchestral recording was just put at the end of the credits, right? If there's one thing about OoT's soundtrack that bothers me, it's that the main theme doesn't play over Hyrule Field when you're Adult Link. Where does the main theme appear in Majora's Mask? It's been so long since I played this game, I can't remember.
Are you talking about Termina Field?
I don't know what kind of mud you've got in your ears (I don't wan't to say "shit", because that would be too vulgar), but that sounds nothing like the Firebird. Maybe you were talking about a remix...Firebird rip-off.
There is another Firebird?Which Firebird? Stravinsky?
