"You're not John Conner, I saw you die, said Kyle". "I was only injured, replied John". "No, your injuries were too severe, you died. Look at you, where are your injuries? You're, you're a Terminator." "Kyle, its still me, yes my body was beyond repair, but my essence is here." He points to his head. "No John". Kyle raised his pulse rifle and aimed it at John but before he could fire, John fired first. Knocked to the ground Kyle looked up at the Terminator in the form of the man he once idolized. All hope was lost. "If you kill me how will you ever be born?" "Thats a good question Kyle, all this time we've focus on Sarah, on John, when had we known the it was you we should have targeted all along." John pointed his rifle at Kyle's face. "The resistance is finished, the battle is won. We the machines are the victors, salvation is ours." Kyle never heard the second shot.

I live in this country too Jason and your math doesn't even come close to reality. Most everyone I know with a data plan exceeds 100bucks with ease. Mine is 88 without a data plan and I have a very old plan grandfathered in. That includes my mom's phone, an old 5 buck grandfather in unlimited text plan and 850 minutes. Most smart phone plans in the US are $40/month for data + $30/month for around 450 daytime minutes (free nights and weekends) for talk + maybe a $5/month text message plan if you want one + taxes coming out to around $80/month
good luck finding a 5 buck text plan among the big boys.

I've been paying ~$80/month for my smart phone since 2009 (first on AT&T, now on Verizon). And I had a $5/month text message plan the entire time I was on AT&T. On Verizon now I have no text plan. Sorry you've been paying more but I know what I'm talking about.

No one needs more than 2GB.
The $40/month plan Verizon offers is actually for 2 gigs, but when I joined they were doing a special when you got double the gigs for teh same price (so I got 4 gigs)
In actually, I've only used used more than 1 gig in a month since I've had a smart phone (since June 2009)
There's wifi everywhere I go

This tablet will be used in the exact same way i used my netbook.
A secondary computing device, super handy for browsing the Interweb, watching an occasional movie on, Skype, chatting etc...
I'm not gonna type up whole reports on it, or use it to edit movies or pictures. And my longer posts will always be done on a desktop PC. (partly because as you always say, the mobile version of this forum has some downsides)
This Tablet was my birthday present. It's pretty much what I was hoping i would get. It looks sleek, is very fast, lots of space for apps.
Like the iPad it has no slot for memory cards, but I've ordered some cheap gizmo from eBay that will solve that issue.
And unlike the iPad you have this tablet is 16:9

But I suppose I do like the extra vertical real estate you get in the web browser on an iPad.
