I bought a keyboard/protection case/stand because sometimes if I have to write a long email or text, it can be usefull and more efficient to do it using a normal keyboard. But when i had a netbook, i used it mostly for browsing, shorts posts, watching youtube etc...
So 95% of the time i wont need a "real" keyboard and the touch version does it's job very well.
Are you the ant-matter version of Quint?

This is why tablets are pointless. If you're buying a keyboard attachment, you should have gotten a laptop in the first place.
Absolutely not. Hardly any of the things I do with my tablet could be done equally well with a laptop.

So you guys have desktop, netbook and tablet...?!
Yes, though I've used my netbook perhaps twice since I bought the tablet. A desktop (or fully equipped laptop - but I prefer a desktop these days as I have two equally sized large screens and cabling to both my stereo systems) for working cannot be replaced by a netbook or tablet, and I still prefer it for internet browsing, too. The tablet is great for always being in my bag and ready to use whenver I'm away. Also for quick internet searches when I have friends over, and perfect to backup my photos on a holiday and as a photo viewer.
A netbook is a decent replacement for when you occasionally have to work/type a lot away from home and can't justify a full laptop.

I use them all in different needs. And of course like you, include also the smartphones, kind of mini computers.
Life has become weird.

Yeah, I don't do anything creative with computers anymore. Nowadays I just consume media, from the comfort of the sofa. I think it's healthier.

A laptop can do everything a tablet can do, and more, sans touch screen, etc. They're oversized smartphones, which can be useful at times, I will agree. I have a Macbook, a Kindle Fire, and an HTC Incredible piece of shit. I primarily use my Fire for reading, but will do the occasional apps and gaming on it. I rarely use it for web browsing, and I can't even imaging typing a post such as this on it. It takes too long and with autocorrect misspellings galore. It's the perfect size too at 7 inches; if you go iPad level, a Macbook Air will suit you better.
I know I've discussed this before with you guys, when they become more affordable I can accept their uses. Right now a 64GB iPad with 3G will run you what, $800? Just get a laptop. If you say you don't need the 3G or the space, well then I envy that you can afford such an expensive web browser for the couch.

Probably a mixture of maturity and depression.Indeed. Koray seems to be going through the motions. What happened to his passion?
