Ars superior est vita hominum.
"We pop out and come into the world and music is there. We didn't invent it - it's all organised in the atmosphere by divinity or whatever. It's a miracle." - John Williams-
I think music is a stream of some kind. It could be blood. It could be water. It could be ether. Whatever it is it seems to be a living, organic force that’s in motion, that serves humanity and is part of humanity and part of what describes us as humans. We sing, play, dance, all the things that we do. And there is a vibrant and great literature we have been given. ... As musicians, we join the stream. We swim in the stream with all the other millions of music makers. It’s a life force, a strong one, surrounding us and we are part of it. -John Williams-

I certainly didn't need to know that. Unless you're joking of course.LOL - if anyone thinks the movie will end with the horse still alive then I don't know what to tell you.

I've just seen a lot of movies in my day and I assume the movie ends with the horse dying. That's 100% pure speculation. I promise!
I won't openly speculate any more though. Sorry!

Disturbing.
Karol
Indeed. I guess the movie gets PG-13 rating then.
Hey Jason, if any tracks include spoilers in them could you please tag them? I'd hate to see "The War Horse's Noble End" listed. Thanks!
I heard rumors the last track will be:
16. Flogging a **** horse and Finale.

Something in vein of the latter part of On the conveyor belt from AotC but with WH theme intervened.

John Williams sucks, he doesn't write with a quill pen, there is no emotion in pencil music ! Purcell is the man !Among all the things I have done in my short and pitiful life, becoming an inside joke on JWFAN is the one I'm the least proud of.

3. Bringing Joey Home, and Bonding (4:48)
Yes forming a friendship with an animal is an alien concept. Certainly worth a few dirty thoughts at least. I bet this story is going to be a lurid and sleazy one if there is bonding involved.Disturbing.

It means that KM is not a least bit worried about the War Horse soundtrack release. Which is a counterbalance to the depressed hysteria that is taking over because of Tintin.
I have zero worry

It's obviously because Williams seldom screws up the OST release of his drama scores, as opposed to his action/adventure/fantasy/sf scores.
Just because you or KM don't like it, doesn't mean JW screwed up!
I for one am quite happy with most of his releases -- drama and action/adventure/fantasy/sf, especially because we got many many expanded or complete editions over the years.

Plus he really compiles good albums for his drama scores.
