2012 - the year of 3D re-releases

2012
Beauty and the Beast - January 13
The Phantom Menace - February 10
Titanic - April 6
Finding Nemo - September 14
2013
Monsters, Inc. - January 18
The Little Mermaid - September 13
I have a feeling more and more studios will jump on the 3D re-release bandwagon if Phantom Menace and Titanic have successful re-release runs.
What do you guys think?

"You're not John Conner, I saw you die, said Kyle". "I was only injured, replied John". "No, your injuries were too severe, you died. Look at you, where are your injuries? You're, you're a Terminator." "Kyle, its still me, yes my body was beyond repair, but my essence is here." He points to his head. "No John". Kyle raised his pulse rifle and aimed it at John but before he could fire, John fired first. Knocked to the ground Kyle looked up at the Terminator in the form of the man he once idolized. All hope was lost. "If you kill me how will you ever be born?" "Thats a good question Kyle, all this time we've focus on Sarah, on John, when had we known the it was you we should have targeted all along." John pointed his rifle at Kyle's face. "The resistance is finished, the battle is won. We the machines are the victors, salvation is ours." Kyle never heard the second shot.

Couldn't. You couldn't care less.
Check out David Mitchell's tirade on exactly this - it's hilarious.

I would presume that especially Finding Nemo will look great in 3D, if they make the underwater landscapes look really immersive (which they already do to a great extent in the 2D version)
I'm starting to get tired of the word immersive when it comes to describing 3D.
Couldn't. You couldn't care less.

"I could care less" is the present-day contracted form of "it would be impossible for me to care less than I do because I do not care at all." However, that phrase is far too verbose for conversation, and Americans, being the lazy snobs that we are, cut out too many key words to yield "I could care less."
It is most commonly taken sarcastically, so "I could care less" actually means "I couldn't care less," but somehow that extra "n't" is too nerdy to say in American slang.
If taken literally, it asks the question, "If you could care less, then why don't you?" And means nothing. Usually people who say "I could care less" and mean exactly that have some kind of fundamental educational defect with their own language.
I was going to be cute and post what the Urban Dictionary says, but I won't. Instead, I'll stay classy.
Which is correct: I could care less or I couldn't care less?
The expression I could not care less originally meant 'it would be impossible for me to care less than I do because I do not care at all'. It was originally a British saying and came to the US in the 1950s. It is senseless to transform it into the now-common I could care less. If you could care less, that means you care at least a little. The original is quite sarcastic and the other form is clearly nonsense. The inverted form I could care less was coined in the US and is found only here, recorded in print by 1966. The question is, something caused the negative to vanish even while the original form of the expression was still very much in vogue and available for comparison - so what was it? There are other American English expressions that have a similar sarcastic inversion of an apparent sense, such as Tell me about it!, which usually means 'Don't tell me about it, because I know all about it already'. The Yiddish I should be so lucky!, in which the real sense is often 'I have no hope of being so lucky', has a similar stress pattern with the same sarcastic inversion of meaning as does I could care less.

I made sure of my facts before I said anything last night, mostly because I was bored.
Grammar nazi? Surprised you didn't go all the way and compare me to Hitler, Hank.

no I will not compare you to Hitler. Despite being Evil he was much smarter than you and not as anal.
However since you're needing to express your superiority and your bums need to be scratched, I make this proposal. Why don't you write my posts for me. Tell me what to say when to say, and why. Granted I do get some right of refusal or use of ad libs on occasion, sort of like a quarterback audible. You know like sharks don't eat people except or the 14 people who have gotten eaten this year, and numerous others who just got munched on.

Yeah I finished HS, did you? Only mine was a regular one. Was yours the kind that mainstreamed your kind into society.Anal? That gay slang for "anally retentive?" Golly shucks old man, did you even finish high school?
And I'm sorry that me being gay offends you. I will stop being gay now.
I just unlimped my wrist. Is that a word? Wojo why don't you find out and then correct me if I'm in error.

I'll have a coke with you, or a lemonade. And a pizza, or a gyro, or both.I'm pretty sure that nobody was able to get you to "stop being gay" when you were young, and since you're 51 now and are with a guy you love, you probably shouldn't stop now simply on account of someone who will never amount to more than a belligerent little cur in a browser window that you probably wouldn't even want to have a beer with. And probably any comment about trying to get you to stop would violate the rules of this place about not harassing people based on their bedroom hobby. So I won't.
Oh LaMichael James just went down for the season.

It's not a phrase that gets under my skin the way the other does, so I will offer no critique as to its proper use. A true national socialist of the grammar wing would point out punctuation, capitalization, conjugation, and spelling inconsistencies, but I leave those to the red and green squiggles.
In other words, I'm just not going to ask how unique you were at implementing your wrist...

it's clear that I never or almost never start my posts with a capital letter. And I was being silly about a limp wrist since that's reserved for twinks, not bears.Unlimp suggests "uniqueness as a leitmotiv for implementation."

going back to topic, I've always wanted to see the classic film Dial M for Murder in 3D. Best of all it has John Williams in it.

As much as I despise 3D in the theater and living room, I wouldn't mind seeing Pee-Wee's Big Adventure in 3D.
That's right. Just for Large Marge's reveal to jump out of the screen. I don't care that the rest of the movie doesn't lend itself to 3D. Maybe the clown dream sequences.

I'd be rather interested in being IMMERSED in a 3D Finding Nemo. It would be a stunningly immersive experience on IMAX.

Then blame Sir Humphry, since he himself called it Aluminum, but it was changed by many to conform to the traditional spellings of other elements with the "ium" ending by the time it was truly isolated by other chemists.
Oh, and I don't care much for 3D. Avatar was good in that format, but I'm not going to get all gooey about all these re-releases.

I've heard that James Cameron "encouraged" Paramount and Fox to spend $18M to convert Titanic properly. He screened 15 minutes of converted footage in Europe to wild applause.
