Not in Europe, though... :(

Karol
From a storytelling point of view, from a directing point of view, there is one thing I associate with what he does, which is calm. There is such an inherent calm and inherent trust of the one powerful image, that he makes me embarrassed with my own work, in terms of how many different shots, how many different sound effects, how many different things we’ll throw at an audience to make an impression. But with Kubrick, there is such a great trust of the one correct image to calmly explain something to audience. There can be some slowness to the editing. There’s nothing frenetic about it. It’s very simple. There’s a trust in simple storytelling and simple image making that actually takes massive confidence to try and emulate. - Christopher Nolan

Anyone else notice the first 10 seconds of track 10 are repeated at the start of track 12?

Not exactly the same, the metallic rhythm (the one we've heard quite a bit in Horner's career) is in track 12 but not 10.

Oh, I hear a strong "Rite of Spring" influence in "The Blowing Sands".
Please, be more polite on the internet when you're talking to someone!

It sucks...that german iTunes again denies me the pleasure.
You wouldn't see a subtle plan if it painted itself purple and danced naked on top of a harpsichord, singing "Subtle Plans Are Here Again."

I don't know if it interests anyone, but I wrote a review for the score (after two whole days of straight listening):

Comments are welcomed! Thanks!

I heard the danger motif in the first track.

Aye, but its a short appearance and its harmless enough. Doesn't ever show up in the rest of the score ;)

This is a great score.
