Jay 46,241 Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 No one watched this or has any comments on it?
Quintus 6,493 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 He's always been a great interviewee, though. Very forthcoming, very enthusiastic. He likes talking to people. You can also see it in his work.
indy4 160 Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Some interesting points:- that in WWI enemy soldiers did communicate--it makes the wire-clipping scene seem more realistic (and I loved the scene from the beginning)- that in the original book/play German soldiers did not meet Joey- that if it wasn't for War Horse, Spielberg's only release this year would've been Tintin--we were VERY lucky as JWFans/Spielberg fans- CGI is only used 3 times- there he is again about the musical--I hope he does it while Williams can still compose!- "autoerotic" - interesting about the animatronic horses - I never noticed (nor the CGI, for that matter)- funny story about Spielberg submerging, must've been pretty scary- very interesting that Spielberg is always nervous--for somebody whose films are relatively optimistic and who always seems so enthusiastic, you wouldn't necessarily expect that-
Jay 46,241 Posted December 30, 2011 Author Posted December 30, 2011 CGI was only used 3 times? That doesn't seem right. How else could they have filmed the scene where Joey runs through No Man's Land?
indy4 160 Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 He may have meant it was only used in a major way in 3 scenes, his answer wasn't very clear.
