Just listened to "The Terminal" again. Still amazing.
But this time, I imagined a completely different film...
It's about a young Lex Luthor in the 1960s (the "turbulent years"),
legally trapped in a Swedish airport, with a nuclear time bomb in
his suitcase. It is destined to detonate within 24 hours, and Luthor
cannot switch it off.
The third obstacle appears in the shape of hot, Russian airport
nurse Donna, which he completely falls in love with. But who
must never find out that he is a criminal in the making - and not
the Canadian Broadway star he claims to be.
Couldn't figure out a satisfying ending, yet. Superman certainly can't be
involved; this is a prequel.
And a Lex Luthor prequel at that.
By the way, it's in b/w, of course.
