I believe this is his first award of the year? That's pretty sad, considering how good his scores were this year. Oh well. I think he can expect one or two trophies from the Grammys this year.

I wonder if he went to the ceremony. I highly doubt it, but it could be possible...

Congratulations to maestro Williams for his win. Now he has another new industry award for his mantlepiece. :)

Ars superior est vita hominum.

"We pop out and come into the world and music is there. We didn't invent it - it's all organised in the atmosphere by divinity or whatever. It's a miracle." - John Williams-

I think music is a stream of some kind. It could be blood. It could be water. It could be ether. Whatever it is it seems to be a living, organic force that’s in motion, that serves humanity and is part of humanity and part of what describes us as humans. We sing, play, dance, all the things that we do. And there is a vibrant and great literature we have been given. ... As musicians, we join the stream. We swim in the stream with all the other millions of music makers. It’s a life force, a strong one, surrounding us and we are part of it. -John Williams-

What's an Annie?

I suppose it adds variety to the trophy shelf. ;)

[Ani]Yippeee![Ani]

Among all the things I have done in my short and pitiful life, becoming an inside joke on JWFAN is the one I'm the least proud of.

The additional passage was interesting but not really something I would consider absolutely essential.

Very cool! And yeah, nothing against the other nominees, but any other choice would have been a bit bizarre.

Hi,
Does anybody know if JW is attending the BAFTA's. I am in the city this weekend working on a PR event so was thinking of using my contacts to go to the awards press event after the show. I have asked for a guest list but its not released till the day before.
Jason you seem to know insider info LOL.
Thanks,
Ad

The Annie is quite a nice award, as it represents a golden zootrope.
