Four weeks ago on March 27th, an hour after they started selling it.

Got mine this morning, #48803. :) I think mine was a 'second batch' press as I'd ordered the day after release and the '1-2 weeks wait' had not long been posted on LLL's site.

If Karol ordered an hour after release then it would seem it's probably gone amiss. Hopefully you'll get both and then you can keep one for ebay! :whistle:

According to the USPS tracker, mine's still stuck in Merrifield, for a whole week already. This can mean three things:

1) The tracker is correct, the package got lost somehow, and I'll have to ask SAE to re-ship the whole thing in about 3 weeks.
2) The tracker is incorrect and the package's arrival is imminent.
3) The tracker is incorrect and the package's arrival at the customs office is imminent, where it'll be stuck for another 2 weeks.

It can take forever for USPS' tracking system to update. Nearly every time the CDs from the labels have been delivered before it updates saying such.

I had a USPS-tracked package last month, and the last status it ever showed was 'on its way to the destination' from some sorting facility in LA. Then it just showed up randomly. At no point did it show up in the tracking websites of any UK carriers.

Fairly useless...

Ordering stuff from overseas really should be easier than this :|

It is still not here. However, I e-mailed MV about it and he asked for my adress and what was in the package. I gave him one and my order number (also mentioned that I will send it back if the other packet arrives) and he replied "you got it". Which, as far as I understand, means that my Hook just shipped yesterday. Again. Good chap, this MV!

From a storytelling point of view, from a directing point of view, there is one thing I associate with what he does, which is calm. There is such an inherent calm and inherent trust of the one powerful image, that he makes me embarrassed with my own work, in terms of how many different shots, how many different sound effects, how many different things we’ll throw at an audience to make an impression. But with Kubrick, there is such a great trust of the one correct image to calmly explain something to audience. There can be some slowness to the editing. There’s nothing frenetic about it. MV definitely takes care of everyone. :) So does Intrada.

I was very happy when Intrada replaced my Star Trek IV copy the one I thought was lost in the mail. When the original one actually showed up a week later I sent it back to Intrada.

All though I'm surprised the guys at LLL write all the addresses by hand on the envelopes. You think they'd save the time and print them out like Intrada, Varèse, Movie Music and SAE does.

5 weeks? That's a bit excessive wait time. I say if it's not there by the end of the week to contact MV so he can send you a replacement.

I got mine in about 7 or 8 business days (very fast delivery to Finland by any standards) and I ordered from Screen Archives Entertainment. Which makes me feel pretty lucky since some people who ordered from there had to wait a long time to get theirs.

I see... just out of curiosity, why order from SAE and not LLL? is there a difference? :)

Well I don't have a Paypal account and find LLL's credit card order form troublesome so I ordered from my regular store SAE.

Your second statement contradicts your first one. With you saying that, you obviously have not heard it. The only sound issues are in "Banning Back Home (Film Version)" and the previously Ultimate War pieces.

It does suck they could not find the proper elements for the previously unreleased Ultimate War pieces. However, the set itself is good on its own.

Finally got it in the mail today! WOOT!

Althought, I can tell I'll be burning this to iTunes and making a playlist with it - pretty much what I had to do with the Indiana Jones re-releases when they came out. No worries, though.
