After seeing Avengers, what is your favorite super hero team movie (or series)? It's actually not my style...but I somehow liked League of Extraordinary gentlemen. Avengers had great CGI, but after 2.5 h of explosions I felt really brain dead. The other movies I never saw.

The Incredibles and The Avengers. Both two of my three favourite superhero films. My only beef with The Incredibles is at the end.

In comic books, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. No, there's not a film of that. Also Watchmen, although they aren't a team. I still have to read a lot of stuff so this might change.

Generally I prefer superheroes in groups than in solitary. Group dynamics in the face of danger, that's where superpowered individuals start really shining.

There is actually. It was made in 2003 and starred Sean Connery

No, I actually saw it. It also has Stuart Townsend, that blonde chick who played Nikita and some other people.

File "LXG" under "fascinating failure".
I like this film: its characters are never less than interesting, and there is some smart interplay between them. Tony ("Vincent and The Doctor") Curran is cheeky as The Invisible Man, and Peta Wilson is well sexy, as is Stuart Townsend (if you like that sort of thing).
The downside, I'm sorry to say, is Mr. Connery. I know that "LXG" was a "troubled" production, but it seemed that he interferred too much with it. In the end, the film fails to ingnite, being a piece of work that is worth watching for its ideas, and visual content but not necessariliy for its intellectual content. Still, sometimes that is reason enough to watch a film.

Ok so there's a film. I've seen it. It's just nowhere as fun as the book is. When the book starts the crossover of these characters, it feels like the first hour of The Avengers, when finally everything is put together, just at the end of the XIXth Century. I'm a bit of a fan of the anglosaxon fantasy literature of the time, and kept thinking on all the characters that could be there but weren't... ah I love that book.

I've never seen TMNT but I would still have to go with the original Turtles movie.

Shredder got a better introduction than Darth Vader ever did.

X-Men 2, X-Men United.

Hands down the best of the best.
Avengers doesn't hold a candle to it.
OH God, Joe is posting again, someone hand me my pills!

"You're not John Conner, I saw you die, said Kyle". "I was only injured, replied John". "No, your injuries were too severe, you died. Look at you, where are your injuries? You're, you're a Terminator." "Kyle, its still me, yes my body was beyond repair, but my essence is here." He points to his head. "No John". Kyle raised his pulse rifle and aimed it at John but before he could fire, John fired first. Knocked to the ground Kyle looked up at the Terminator in the form of the man he once idolized. All hope was lost. "If you kill me how will you ever be born?" "Thats a good question Kyle, all this time we've focus on Sarah, on John, when had we known the it was you we should have targeted all along." John pointed his rifle at Kyle's face. "The resistance is finished, the battle is won. We the machines are the victors, salvation is ours." Kyle never heard the second shot.

I like that film. Thought, like all X-Men films, they never tried to paralell at least a bit the chronology of the comics. And it needs more Magneto. It's probably my fourth favourite superhero film. Funny, four and Batman still hasn't appeared.

I remember they passed the script of the first one to Joss Whedon and he thought it had to be completely rewritten, and it turned out they only wanted him to add some jokes. Meh. At least he got his own X-Men comic later.

Avengers, then X-Men First Class, followed by X-Men 2, then X-Men.

It's vice versa for me. The Avengers is way better than Wolverine and the X-men trilogy and the overpraised First Class.

Okay this may seem stupid to you guys but I watched the Power Rangers shows...well haven't watched Samurai but they started team ups with Power Rangers In Space and went from there with team ups from previous Ranger teams with the current team. With the Operation Overdrive Rangers they teamed up with one from the previous teams, especially with Adam from MMPR with his original black ranger (Mastodon) powers when Zack transferred his powers to him.

The only team up I didn't like was when the Rangers In Space teamed up with the Ninja Turtles from The Next Mutation. That episode was rather dorky.

My favorite team up was probably from Wild Force where all the 10 Red Rangers teamed up to defeat the remaining Generals from the Machine Empire. They had Jason Lee Scott (MMPR), Tommy Oliver (Zeo), TJ (Turbo), Andros (Space), Leo Corbett (Galaxy), Carter Grayson (Lightspeed Rescue), Wes Collins (Time Force), Eric Myers (Quantum Ranger), Cole Evans (Wild Force), and Aurico (Alien Ranger). When this happened Cole was the "new guy" when Jason met him and the others.

Jason: "So you must be the new guy".

Anyways.....ya as I said you guys might find this post dorky but hey it's something I liked.

I remember the Power Rangers being cool in 6th grade. By 7th grade, they weren't.
