While not as bad as their shameful exit 2 years ago, France is once again going home in defeat.

Spain ruled the field, and France did nothing to try and stop them. At one point Spanish players were passing the ball to each other in mid field, with no intention of trying to force an opening. they were just passing time. Humiliating France.

I really don't think the great French players from just a few years ago would have stood for that.

Yup, same old same old. Still, I saw more heart this time than last time around.

England's football problem is generational. It's gonna take another generation of players to come in with a higher quality game across the board. Rooney might be a pundit by then.

Andrea Pirlo had some balls to Panenka his penalty like that in the shootout - fair play to him.

It's nonetheless gutting to lose on penalties yet again. I just knew Ashley Young would miss his. :shakehead:
