The Spaniards are taking their time. It seems la Roja is going to win.
Edit: heh, there goes another.

Edit: Portugal. Now I'm divided. I support both. Well whoever wins better do well afterwards.

Spain ruled the field, and France did nothing to try and stop them. At one point Spanish players were passing the ball to each other in mid field, with no intention of trying to force an opening. they were just passing time. Humiliating France.
I really don't think the great French players from just a few years ago would have stood for that.

Lol. Sorry wojo. Couldn't really use a different color either. This was the lesser of the evils.
Plus I was plotting to damage the retinas of everyone here.
It's ok. I don't know how blind people see.

England's football problem is generational. It's gonna take another generation of players to come in with a higher quality game across the board. Rooney might be a pundit by then.

It's nonetheless gutting to lose on penalties yet again. I just knew Ashley Young would miss his.

"Let me say, however, there is no "next" John Williams. Sadly, he is unique--- a figure who simultaneously embodies and transcends the music of all the masters of film music who preceded him (much like Brahms and Wagner of the Romantic era). He comes from a time when the craft of music in film was still one of the ear, heart and mind. Today, sadly, the craft is largely technical. Most composers do not conceive their music "inwardly" but rather at the computer--- and with rather limited skills, musically, at that. The inner spirit knows no boundaries--- our plastic abilities, sadly, do. John is a man of spirit, heart, intellect and soaring music." -- Conrad Pope about John Williams

"You think they wear those tight-fitting clothes just so some other bride can say 'Gee your hips look succulent'? The good-looking ones know we're looking, they love us to be looking, and god bless 'em, they're carrying the rest of their sex!" - Al Bundy
