I think next we should try Private Detective Incanus and the case of the mysterious Forest Boy. ;)

His feet up on the desk of his dimly lit 3rd floor Detective office that had the blinds closed and a ceiling fan slowly circulating stale air on this hot summer's day, Detective Inky flipped through the newspaper slowly as a way to keep his mind off the horrors he had witnessed during his last case

It was a normal day at the office with the usual humming of copy machines, the rustling of paper and the whispers of the gathering dust; nothing abnormal for Old Ink until something peculiar in the papers caught his eye.

"King Mark has written an article on curling and has suggested that the next JWFAN convention be held in Canada at the curling fest." The detective stood up and contemplated this news as he paced toward the dirty window.

Looking out in distance of his Finnish country, the detective knew something was wrong and that a case was afoot, but little did he know just how big a task he would be taking on.

Never in his wildest dreams could he have known that the mysterious Forest Boy was, at that very moment, brushing his teeth with bath salts in preparation for his monthly trek from the forest to the village for, ah, groceries.

@Wojo: stop being facetious.

"Over the river and through the woods, to the airport we go." sang the Forest Boy, deranged on bath salts.

Planes (the shamelessly more convenient method of travel) neglected, Incanus finally arrived to the Great North with his trusty stead.

Realizing they had forgotten their reasons for doing anything, the detective, Incanus, and the Forest Boy found a couch in the woods and watched non-sequential reruns of 24 all day.

Struggling to stay awake, they chased amphetamines with Red Bull and Oreos.

You forgot S

And then you completely skipped over U, V, W, and X, before I leapfrogged Z to reboot the alphabet (and edited in a quick S). Methinks this thread format is old hat.

You're the...

Zooming off the couch to jump onto the tube, the Forest Boy stared at both Incanus and the detective with a keen need to feed in his belly and renewed excitement in his eyes, as the moderator snapped the alphabetical continuum back into correct sequence.
