The Home Alone 2 Limited Edition was released in 2002. Do you mean that one?

Varese's 2 disc version of Home Alone 2 came out in 2002.

La-La Land's 1 disc version of Home Alone came out in 2010 and is still available here

Jason is right and I think Home Alone 2 can go for a pretty penny on the secondary market.

Yea, its been out of print for a while. Wouldn't be surprised if LLL or Intrada re-issues it (It's Fox, so anyone can do it, really)

I have both... and I love both, albeit in slightly different ways.

Some people say that you really need only HA2, because most of the music from HA is included in HA2 anyway... but that couldn't be further from the truth. You need both albums to appreciate the scores to both movies.

Agreed. While Home Alone 2 does reprise a lot of material from Home Alone, Home Alone is still its own entity.

I prefer Lost In New York.

The Varese Deluxe Edition took a long time to sell out. If it gets reissued, it'd probably be at around 1,000-2,000 copies.

In 50 years Herrmann will be forgotten.

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets re-issued. If it does I suspect Intrada my re-issue it.

I should buy that just to put a $10 markup on it next month.
