I had the impression as I went through the books that in later installmnents any attempts at creating emotion relied basically in killing characters. In the last book it was so obvious. It didn't work with me at all

In a parallel Universe this is exactly what happened. Ron died. So technically it could be a spoiler for inter dimensional travellers.

I'm not that hardcore a fan. I just know a good couple when I see them. Hermione and Draco would have been amazing. Hermione and Ron are miserable. Ron probably drowns himself in booze every night at the Leaky Cauldron in London.

I don't mind the couples in the epilogue so much, what bothered me was the fact that every kid's name was just a patchwork of names from the rest of the series. Albus Severus Potter just sounds weird.
