For my Samsung Galaxy SIII and IPad I prefer to use them as the good Lord intended them to be, in their natural state, without a screen protector.

I do have a case for the IPad, but don't like the feel of the screen protectors for any of them, including phones.

What do you all prefer?

Mine is so old, small, and useless that protection never really seemed necessary.

I certainly hope these artifacts don't become obsolete too quickly. We are counting on them to last.

I prefer rooting my device. Not sure if we can get anything out of that.

Once it gets seriously scratched about five or six times, you just kinda get numb to it anymore, and hope you can still get a new one someday.
I suggest a full frontal assault with automated laser monkeys, scalpel mines, and acid.

You bet they look better aged, as long as they get used a lot and taken care of often.

I've never cared about covers or screen protectors. I have tried to get screen protectors on phones (including my iPhone) before but failed EVERY time. So I just said to hell with it.

I agree with Ren great thread title, lol.

I don't have a protector on my smartphone because I really don't like it, but I do have a Griffin shell for my iPod Classic. It has saved the device from numerous drops.
