you're going political here, not allowed,Wow, this is awful. This is why we need stricter gun control laws in the US.
"You're not John Conner, I saw you die, said Kyle". "I was only injured, replied John". "No, your injuries were too severe, you died. Look at you, where are your injuries? You're, you're a Terminator." "Kyle, its still me, yes my body was beyond repair, but my essence is here." He points to his head. "No John". Kyle raised his pulse rifle and aimed it at John but before he could fire, John fired first. Knocked to the ground Kyle looked up at the Terminator in the form of the man he once idolized. All hope was lost. "If you kill me how will you ever be born?" "Thats a good question Kyle, all this time we've focus on Sarah, on John, when had we known the it was you we should have targeted all along." John pointed his rifle at Kyle's face. "The resistance is finished, the battle is won. We the machines are the victors, salvation is ours." Kyle never heard the second shot.

You know what, if you want to take away my right to carry a firearm because it may kill someone, than you may as well ban all spoons for making people fat. It's the same fucking logic. Idiots.
I'm aiming the crosshaires of my teaspoon at your head right now.
Dumbest post I think I've ever read here, and that's saying a lot.

Alright.
It's quite simple to achieve that.
I could kill you with a spoon.
Prove it!
- Numero Uno: If you sharpen the edge of the spoon, you may proceed to stab a man, woman, small child or baby animal (or, if you're suicidal, YOU....) in the throat. If that person/baby animal/you has an Adam's Apple, well then, it's your lucky day! Unless you're suicidal. Then you're dead. Because you made yourself..........dead. Retard.
- Number Two: Slap the man in the balls. Haha. Balls.
- Number Three: Jab the spoon in the person/baby animal/you's guts.
- Intermission: Hahaha, baby animals getting killed with a spoon.
- Number Five (I cheated during the Intermission, yeah, I can do that): Shove the spoon down their throat.
- Number Six: Stab them in the spine. Either it'll paralyze them or kill them. Painfully.
- Number Seven: Stab them through their rib cage.
- Number Eight: Just plain out stab them. Duh.
- Number Nine:Somehow manage to load the spoon in a gun and shoot the son's a bitches.
- Number Ten: Shove the spoon through a person's nose or eyes and reach the brain, poke it, jab it, and wait till they're dead.
I've said nice things about you guys plenty of times

Yes. I don't know why some people use the spoon example as something that doesn't kill.
Because the spoon is a TOOL for putting food into your mouth. Putting more food into your mouth than is healthy makes people fat.
A gun is a TOOL that delivers a piece of metal at tremendous speed towards an object, and can be not just unhealthy, but fatal.
The spoon is a metaphor for people who don't want to think that people should have a certain degree of personal responsibility for their life choices. It's weak because nobody holds another spoon to your head and forces you to eat, and some really fat people have swallowed their spoon at some point and just shovel the rest in with their hands.
But to blame the gun is to relieve the shooter of personal responsibility, and blame the device that allowed them to commit the crime, rather than the decisions and circumstances that led them to the state of mind where they woke up one day and said, "you know what, I want to execute people today, commando-style." The gun is a means to the end but not the whole story.

Since when do bad guys use spoons to kill innocent people? That's the (pretty darn obvious) difference. You know what, if you want to take away my right to carry a firearm because it may kill someone, than you may as well ban all spoons for making people fat. It's the same fucking logic. Idiots.
True, but gun regulations is an easier fix than whatever complex mental/societal issues motivated this crime. You won't be solving the root of the issue but you'll at least be trimming back the flowers.
But to blame the gun is to relieve the shooter of personal responsibility, and blame the device that allowed them to commit the crime, rather than the decisions and circumstances that led them to the state of mind where they woke up one day and said, "you know what, I want to execute people today, commando-style." In this day and age it would be good to implement the old fashioned Roman damnatio memoriae, cursing of the memory, and wipe all knowledge of these criminals from record, in essence wipe them from the face of the earth as if they had never existed. At least it would not fuel any cases or glorify the perpetrators of such tragedies as media does so often now, especially if the carcass of such a case can be picked for a good while from all possible angles.
Kind of like the fear factor of always referring to Voldemort as "You Know Who"? Seems to defeat the purpose of learning from history.
Anyway, I probably won't let this incident taint my future viewings of this fine film, which I'm seeing again tonight. All the kneejerk reactions from gun-grabbers and people calling out for TSA style screenings and gropings at cinemas has me more concerned about escalating and further emcompassing fascism in America than lone angry nuts with guns.

I was wondering how it would affect future movies, if film makers would be afraid to push boundaries. But this was rated PG-13, so they can't really say extreme explicit violence on screen caused this. It could have happened with an Indiana Jones film
